This is what i found on gateworld. I know its not much but hey..........

Season Seven's 'Inauguration' announced
JULY 28, 2003

The first sketchy info on a late Season Seven episode is finally available! "Inauguration" is currently being penned by co-executive producers Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie, and rounds out the season's 22 episodes. The episode will likely air in February or early March, before the season finale, "The Lost City." Beware of some minor spoilers below.

Mallozzi mentioned the episode in a chat at AXN.com this weekend, telling fans that "'Inauguration' will see the return of an old enemy and set up the big, BIG two-part season finale."

Just what does the episode deal with? It's anyone's guess at this point # but considering that the out-going President of the United States is mentioned in "Heroes" and the newly-elected President appears in "The Lost City," the title "Inauguration" may be telling. Could that "old enemy" be none other than Senator Kinsey, who appears as Vice President in the season finale?

We'll bring you more details on this episode as they become available! <!#emo&#>user posted image<!#endemo#> <!#emo&#>user posted image<!#endemo#> <!#emo&#>user posted image<!#endemo#> <!#emo&#>user posted image<!#endemo#>

So really there's no additional information aside from the episode's name? I mean all the other stuff there just looks like someone guessing from the spoilers of the episodes around it.

If it is one of those political episodes, I hope they don't make it a clip show like they have with a few other politically based ones...

After reading this week's edition of Entertainment Weekly, it took about the fourth time looking through an article on "aspiring actors/writers" whistling.gif that I actually looked at a picture in the article...It was a bin with actor's headshots divided into slots for potential characters for casting.

The bottom bin had two visible slots with headshots piled up for the following listings:

"Stargate: The Lost City"...Dr. Theresa Wright
"Stargate: The Lost City"...President Henry Hayes

So I guess we now know the name of the new President being Inaugerated?

yeah it does look like Gateworld have been guessing a bit but at least we have an ep name and a rough idea that its going to be something to do with Kinsey.

I hope that there is an episode with Senator Kinsey becoming the president. I think he is perhaps the greatest villian to hit Stargate SG-1 because I hate him with a passion and I can't say that about Anubis or the other Goa'uld. I remember that the episode where they took out the leaders of the rogue NID group had Kinsey saying how he had become so popular from that operation that he was guaranteed the presidency. They better tie up this loose end in a huge episode or two-parter.

Yes, 'Disclosure' was one of the best non combat episodes. Sentor Kinsey is a powerful character and is a good anti-hero for SG1!

I thought 'Politics' was a great episode, i liked the whole idea of Senator Kinsey trying to shut down the Stargate Programme, i think that Senator Kinsey will try and split up SG-1, first by trying to get rid of General Hammond.

Btw, has anyone noticed that Season 7 could be the first Season they have gone without mentioning or having an episode of Apophis in it.

Do you seriously believe this? Apophis is dead and won't be coming back, the writers have even stated this on several occasions. Besides, bringing him back from the dead (again) would be writer's suicide in my opinion. Anyway, he was last seen heading at a pretty high speed into a planet with replicators crawling all over his personal defense shield.... seriously, how do you expect him to survive that? rolleyes.gif

This is almost as bad as suggesting that Ra could have survived the nuke blowing up in his face... and that has been said too rolleyes.gif

Anyway, prove me wrong and you get a cookie smile.gif We'll just have to wait and see.

I think it's almost certainly Kinsey. It would be pretty hard for them to explain how Sokar got off his ship, considering that Apophis barely got out alive and Sokar was in a much worse position. I also don't think it will be Maybourne because.....

*POSSIBLE SPOILER* (highlight to read)
I seem to remember someone (Joseph Mallozzi I think) being asked in an interview if Maybourne would make another appearance and he said yes, in Season 8. If Maybourne was going to appear in Season 7 wouldn't he have said that it would be later this season? I guess he could have been trying to keep the plots secret, but I'm not sure...

I'm about 90% sure the old enemy will be Kinsey. He's probably gonna be vice-president next to Hays.

And something tells me this will be a clip show. Why you say? Because of the title. There's a new president in office and someone's gotta tell him about the stargate. So why not have a lovely clip show! sad.gif I wouldn't expect too much out of this ep. It could only be a "build up" to the "Lost City" eps., which will be the best eps ever to show in SG1 history. biggrin.gif
