I had a look through all the three spoiler board pages and i didn't find a thread on this episode.. so i made one laugh.gif

"It's those two schools of thought meeting. It's about compromise. It's about accepting who your brother or sister is and trying to find some middle ground with them."

"It's a neat story about siblings," he said. "I have a brother and two sisters. It's less trouble than McKay's relationship with his sister. But I think there's something universal. It's kind of [about] family and pride. It's quite a funny episode."

Any specifics on the episode? I can see it being a good one, the McKay based ones usually are. I wonder what he is standing in front of in the first pic? Looks like it could be a model of a particle accelerator

I haven't seen a proper episode description yet but from what I know andlooking at these pics i'm guessing that Rodney goes back home and meets his sister and ends up getting her to come to Atlantis.

Any more than that i don't have a clue i'm afraid

seems like it could be an intersting episode hopefully it will be funny but I don't really see how mackay if he goes to earth for his sister by the Atlantis stargate how he could get back from Earth in one episode unless they use that gate road like they said they would be doing. Hopefully it will be that and they don't do something stupid like asking the asguard.

He doesn't have to go back to earth, the first two pictures with civilian like clothing could be from "flashbacks" all the others with McKay in look like they could be in Atlantis

I suspect it will be some sort of flash back, seeing as he is wearing civilian clothes. Probably a flash back including his sister, to tie her into the story.

I see what you mean though, the things on the edge remind me of the chevrons on the stargate......

It was speculated earlier, that it might be some sort of flashback, to when Mckay's sis was a genius somewhere. It could be some sort of containment unit...

OR, given the velcro arm patch Rodney has, it could be in the present. Either a device in Atlantis, or McKay collecting his sister to bring to Atlantis.

Two Rodneys??? NOOOOO!!! Although the premise of the episode sounds good, the fact that it is centered around McKay will really turn me off. I'll try to keep an open mind though hopefully it will further the plot for Atlantis. Although the last couple of episodes, Rodney has really been toning it down.

Why is it that I'm one of a few (as far as I can tell) who actually like McKay?????

I actually can't wait to see what this "alternate McKay" is like. I'm betting more "suave" for one. Whether or not those two can actually get along remains to be seen.

Right, AtheneBelle, count me in as well... I actually am a great fan of McKay... The episodes in which we get to see something happening to him are wonderful, and the ones where his pride is showing off are even better. laugh.gif

It's just that to me, the idea of two McKays sounds like rehash... There were two Carters before once, even if they were both good Carters, and there were about, how many was that again... alternate SG-1 teams, one of them being the evil one.

But I'm sure that two McKays will be totally different. He is, what can I say, unique... 1.gif

I forgot where I saw or heard this "probably Scifi Channel".
The Second McKay mentions that this reality (McKay) and his actions was damaging his reality dimension.
