I have some information about The Real World, from Gateworld:
» Click for Spoiler « Well, this really looks exactly replicator like, the way they can construct such a real-life facade, and make everything appear so real... I believe this as a very well done script... |

It looks like they are scanning some somebody in the first pic... YAY, O'Neill! This could be a great episode. Psychology is always fun! |

Does anyone else feel that this is a repeat of SG's "Out of Mind," with Jack, Sam and Daniel? It sure sounds like it to me.

It is also similar to 'Gamekeeper', 'Unnatural Selection' and 'Home'. A few episodes in both shows seem to be reusing similar plots from earlier seasons of SG-1.

Daf, if the producers wanted a new show in Atlantis, they should have done a new show in Atlantis. They just seem to be reusing old ideas and shows from SG. There have only been a few shows in season 1 & 2 that I thought were different and good.

New plot details for this episode:
QUOTE Waking up in a psychiatric hospital outside Washington D.C., Dr. Elizabeth Weir (Torri Higginson) is shocked to discover that her entire experience in Atlantis over the last two years was solely a figment of her imagination. Through the help of her psychiatrist Dr. Fletcher (Alan Ruck), she learns that a car accident that killed her fiance left her in a near catatonic state and suffering from delusional psychosis. Forced to come to terms with this new reality, Weir is visited by her mother and General Jack O'Neill (Richard Dean Anderson), who assures her that he has never heard of a Stargate program, let alone the lost city of Atlantis. Yet as she starts to pick up the pieces of her life, she continues to have unsettling visions warning her that she must return to Atlantis. Back on Atlantis, the team holds a vigil for the comatose Weir, who in reality has been infected by Replicator nanites that are quickly taking over her body and mind. Even with the medical expertise of Dr. Carson Beckett (Paul McGillion) and the emotional support of Lt. Colonel John Sheppard (Joe Flanigan), it is ultimately up to Dr. Weir to save herself and find a way back to the real world. Well, at least this what they said about these facts... |

Nobody is kidding, if the spoiler says that Jack's going to be in it, than Jack's going to be in it... The bad thing is that all will be in Weir's imagination (or Asuran mind trick).

Well, you may want that, but you'll have to wait for it as the rest of us do. This episode is scheduled on the 18th of August in the US, and probably in November for the UK and Canada.

Yes and they have been running teasers for it ever since last Friday's shows. I really can't wait for my silver fox. |

A few episodes in both shows seem to be reusing similar plots from earlier seasons of SG-1. Honestly I think it's time for the writers to start looking at what us watchers would like to see happen. I mean there are a great number of people out there who are writing their own stories about what's happening in Stargate Atlantis or SG-1. It somewhat dissapoints me to see that they would ignore such a thing. Using a similar story and recreating it hoping that it would be better is just foolish. |

Unfortunately the chances of that happening are slim. Mallozzi has said in the past that he only writes episodes he wants to write and if the fans like them, it is just a bonus. I wouldn't be suprised if the other writers felt the same way. |
