I often wonder that myself. Perhaps self sacrifice for the better-ment of all Jaffa or something. Perhaps they believed they could do more good where they were, rather than become a locked up housewife on Earth!?!?!?

True, but after the initial screaming and tantrum she seemed to come around pretty quickly.

Most unusual behaviour though for a Jaffa, usually they're so dopey they don't know what's going on around them. Hence the phrase "Jaffa Kree!" which I always took to mean "wake up!!!".
Seriously though, think about the movie, Teal'c shoots one Jaffa, and throws the staff to Jack and gets another, and moves everyone back and the other Jaffa are still blinking their eyes looking at each other thinking "did something just happen?" Not the sharpest knives in the block I'm afraid, our Jaffa friends. |

Really? Shaka got around the other side of the lake pretty quickly. And those guys that were in slavery seemed to take action pretty quickly once given the chance. Nope, I'm afraid the Jaffa take the award for the "Dopiest Species Alive"

I'm a bit reluctant to call them slow just because we can't communicate effectively. But there were/are smart enough to keep the Goa'uld out of them (talking about Shaka's necklace etc), which can't be said about the Jaffa - ha ha haaa....

Hey do we know of any priests that are actually Goa'uld?? I ask cause they always seem very aggressive and domineering for men of the cloth.

I suppose to answer my own question, ALL Jaffa seem agressive and domineering now that I think about it - the priests would be no different I guess.

Well, throughout human history Priests have abused their powers. Even today that continues to happen. Being a priest doesn't make them good people.

I loved it when Daniel shot up the Goa'uld tank with the young snakes in it. Jack winces everytime he sees one. Funny that he is squeamish about them.
Bray'tc shot his staff weapon like a machine gun. I haven't seen that in any other episode. does he know how to do this because he is 133 years old? must be the experience. Teal'c has a hot wife. Wasn't she the girl in "Low Down Dirty Shame" with the Waynes brother? yum Chew [P ][ [V] [P [B /A [B 7/ |

Look at who they worship. I am sure the Aztec priests were domineering and aggressive, too! As far as the Jaffa intelligence factor. They haven't been bred for it. If you disobey, you die. If you question, you die. Sometimes, if you even hesitate, you die. This does not make for a questing mind. |

Teal'c touched my heart in this episode. To give up his symbiot to save his son. That is so heart warming. I'm clad that Sam and Daniel had a symbiot for
Teal'c and it kept him alive with it being so young and all. |

I liked it when Daniel let some of his suppressed rage out and blew that tank away!
I wonder why they only got one larva though, that container could have held two. |
