Why do you think he's evil? Sure in later episodes he's an angry little snot, but at this time he seems ok?!??! Although, having said that, this wasn't my favourite ep

This is the one where Apophis has the teeth with the bioligical agent implanted. So it's not Rya'c who is evil, but Apophis who has brainwashed him and then using him as a tool to get at Earth.

well they take away what you know of a certain event or a certain person and will put a fake version of it in your mind so it supports them or makes you forget to protect them.

Given that consciousness seems to be able to be removed, altered, downloaded on floppies and reinstalled with the Stargate series, it's no wonder Pops can brain wash a few people - can't be that hard to believe possible.

If a Zat can free the brainwashed, then why

I believe this is where the last piece in Teal'c's puzzle about whether-or-not to trust SGC is lain. If he has had any doubt(though I don't find that likely) up til now, if he could trust us earthlings or not; this episode surely washed the last remnants away!!! Nothing gains U trust more than saving the life of the son of a person, ey?? U can clearly see in Teal'c's face when he looks up at Jack outside the door, that he really believs himself to owe them all a great debt. Can't say that I blame him.

Got to see Teal'c's family. Ray'ac I felt like slapping him to get rid of the brain wash... but zatting him seems to work. Got to see the parental side of Teal'c. Though not much action but still an episode worth watching.

This episode comes as a shock because we find out that Apophis escaped the destruction of his two Ha'tak vessel's. I wonder why they changed the actor for Dra'ak. Anyway, good episode overall.

Why does everyone seam to be getting angry at Rya'c? it's not his fault he was brainwashed! The hiding space in the wall was a little lame though, and it was funny when O'Neill showed up at the house after following Dray'ac's husband and he was in the Jaffa suit. "No wonder those guys are cranky!". What was with the domestic and Teal'c callling Dray'ac "Woman!" I think the writers could have been a little more politically correct with that one. It would have been hard for Teal'c to have to cause his son physical harm in order to save his mind. And of course Dray'ac and Rya'c go to live in the land of light at the end.

I quite agree with you Aesir. I gave it a 5. It was nice to see Teal'c's family but thats about it. Ryac's acting was good but that of his mother was unrealistic. She seemed so stupidly helpess.
