Apologies if done before (but i can't find a topic!)
Well usually they wait until the series has completed in the Star Trek Field (and I mean completely) but it seems with the booming DVD market they want to bring them out now! Star Trek: Enterprise the newest series is coming to DVD May 9th 2005 for UK Region 2, Season 2 is scheduled for June 6th 2005, Season 3 for August 1st and the yet to be finished Season 4 (which is currently airing in the US and hasn't even started in the UK) to be released on October 3rd 2005. Links for the UK Region 2 versions from Amazon.com are listed below (I hope these links to buy them will help contribute to this site, if not I'm sure Arcady could change them so they do!). Enterprise Season 1 DVD Box Set Enterprise Season 2 DVD Box Set Enterprise Season 3 DVD Box Set Enterprise Season 4 DVD Box Set Unfortunately nothing is yet known for the DVD Releases of Enterprise in the US (Region 1) but I'm sure that release dates will be released shortly... Currently Star Trek: Voyager is being released on DVD... |

In 2002, they released all of TNG. In 2003, all of DS9. In 2004, Voyager (still being released). (I'm not sure when TOS was released.)
Technically, they didn't "pause" since they had not even started to bring out releases when Voyager concluded (2001). |

I meant wait until the series completed as in Enterprise finshed entirely. TNG was finished when their dvd's were released as was DS9. Voyager also didn't start releasing dvd's until after the series was completed. I didn't mean when the 4th season had finished

2004 as well... They were gonna make TOS 2005 and then Ent 2006, guess plans have changed. Well afterall there's only 3 seasons of TOS. Think I'll get myself the Enterprise boxsets, but not before I've finished Voy. |

Excellent I have only seen the first 3 season's episodes twice each. I have been waiting for the DVD release. They released the first season on VHS when it first started then stopped. I am so glad that I decided to wait for the DVD'S. I am currently replacing all my Trek VHS with the DVD'S.
All the Next Generation and the Movies replaced (execpt Generations, but will have in a few weeks). I have only just started to replace DS9, I only have the first box set. So I guess that I still have a long way to go. At least I have the VHS versions untill I can afford to replace them. But I will be getting Enterprise as they are released. |
