Challenge #11

Takes place right before Avalon.

A fic about everything that happened between when we last saw the original sg-1 team (fishing at the lake at the end of Threads/Moebius) and when they were all going separate ways.

Teal'c to Dakara, Daniel to Atlantis, Sam to Area 51, and Jack promoted.

If possible (to add some action) throw in a last mission that they go on together before Jack leaves the SGC. (Cuz technically they never had to go back in the past so that doesn't count cuz they didn't do it.)

Must have some action and a one last mission with all the origional cast and you can add some of the new cast as well.

An insight into what was going on in Daniel's head as he killed Kalek (son of Anubis).

(I know there are people out there that think this was way out of character for Daniel but I totally disagree-Daniel has evolved in so many ways.
He knew what had to be done-for cryin out loud had anyone else had as much experience dealing with Anubis-they should've listened to him right away.)

and include a basketball scene from the beginning of the episode 910.

I had this idea that the quantum mirror was made by the ancients so I'd love to see a story where Sheppard and McKay find the plans for it or something on Atlantis and end up in the SGC. It'd be a cool way to do a crossover between Atlantis and SG-1.

okay, so i was thinking today, what do you think happened between Sam & Jack after they had gone back to Egypt in 'Moebius' pt 1. They were stuck there and they knew it. Do you think they got together? And it was so sad about how Jack, Sam & Teal'c died (but not Daniel THAT MAKES A CHANGE!).

So i propose a challange...

The fanfiction must contain...

Sam & Jack ship
NO ANTI-SHIP!
Sam & Jack UST (for a while)
Sam & Jack finally declaring their Love for each other
Sam & Jack making love
Sam & Jack dying (because thats what happened in the episode )

?Achooo!? Jack sneezed into his hanky and groaned. The aliens who were unlucky enough to be standing near him all jumped and began mumbling amongst themselves. Jack turned to Daniel and raised both eyebrows.

Daniel rolled his eyes. ?They?re wondering why you haven?t been quarantined. And frankly, so am I.?

?Me too, sir,? Sam said with obvious concern. There?s no telling what the colonel was spreading around this place, and given what had happened a few years ago with the naked aliens and their singing plants, she wasn?t in too much of a hurry to stage a repeat performance of Let?s Unwittingly Almost Kill an Entire Civilization. ?Maybe you should head back to the gate. The three of us can handle it.?

?No way, I-ah-ah-? Jack held his finger under his nose like they do in the cartoons in a desperate attempt to stop the sneeze. Miraculously, it worked. ?As I was saying, I?m fine. Janet cleared me before we left, remember??

?Sir-?

?ACHOOO!?

?O?Neill.? Teal?c stepped up and stared Jack straight in the eye. ?You are ill. It would be wise to go back to the stargate and wait for us to complete the mission. You are frightening the Gremtelians, and your presence here is not required.? As if on cue, the aliens nodded their fierce agreement after Daniel translated Teal?c?s statement for them.

?But they?re having cake at the feast tonight!? Jack whined. He wiped his bloodshot eyes, doing a perfect imitation of a toddler on the verge of tears. ?You know how I?m always asking if there?s cake. Finally, someone?s HAVING cake, and you three won?t let me have any.?

?For God?s sake, Jack. We?ll save you a piece. Now please, go away and stop spreading your germs. Poor Fednish says you got a snot glob on him,? Daniel said.

Jack considered protesting, but there were dozens of eyes staring directly at him, and most of them looked either annoyed or scared. He sighed.

?Fine. I know when I?m beat. But so help me, if none of you saves me a piece of this cake?? He let the threat hang in the air as he made his exit. Teal?c, Daniel, and Sam didn?t look particularly concerned about his threat, but Jack pretended they cared. Even if they had continued the ?cultural exchange? as if he had never been there. He hated not being needed sometimes.

Jack sniffled. He convinced himself it was just the snot.

Don?t know if this was already been written, or proposed already but here goes?
Atlantis Challenge:

Puddle Jumper with John & co. go through the Stargate on new mission, solar flare, sent back in time to a few hours before the Atlantis Expedition arrives, no one understands how seriously screwed they are except McKay, cant do anything to affect the timeline, idea that they must avoid contact with Atlantis Team may or may not be ignored? (potential fun here), eventually McKay finds a way to get them home (That's gonna be tricky).

Everything else is up to you, have fun!

2) Hammond must be gay with Siler
3) The Jaffa nation must collapse
4) Sarah Gardener/Vala catfight
5) Jack/ Sam romance
6) must have a massive space battle in it
7) Adria gets struck with lightning 15 time a second for 50 seconds
8) Ra must be abused in everyway imaginable and still live for more abuse
9) Ra has to be in the body of Goldmember
10) Jack must download the ancient knowledge into his head again and actually understand Carter's technobabble.

I had an idea, because I get bored and am too imaginitive...

Challenge, I suppose:
- Season 10
- Can use any character from either show
- A non-taur'i male human(a good person) discovers Anubis's device and uses it repeatedly to gain abilities and mental capacity
- Meditates to gain Ascended knowledge, interacts with repository device
- Has linguistic skills, interest in history, archaeology
- Main character must understand that the Ori must be defeated by the taur'i, it is their challenge to overcome
- Has ability and capability to defeat Ori ships, but does not like violence (might be a pacifist, or could just understand enlightenment)
- Saves Morgan Le Fey from the Ancients
- Has power does not use it
- Could 'borrow' and adapt several Al'kesh for advanced shielding, new user interface, ancient language, drone weapon launcher
- Could be romance
- Could be Tok'Ra involved
- Could visit Earth out of curiosity


I have always thought it would be nice to have power, even if you didn't ever use it.

I guess it could be a fuller story? I am not sure, I was not going for comedy necessarily.

I know someone, on Vill's Place (forum), who is writing a Crossover between Dr. Who and SG1 based in Dr. Who, so far it is good...

Revan, a bit complicated, but I know you have good ideas, maybe you should take a shot at writing it????
