We are pleased to announce the opening of a new feature: The Stargate SG-1 Character Database!
The SG-1 team has visited many worlds, and they have met many interesting people during their travels around the galaxy. The new character database contains a list of many of their friends, enemies, and others they have met along the way. We have started off the databse with about 250 entries. It is a work in progress, and visitors are encouraged to use the "Submit Character Info" link (at the bottom of each page) to help improve the database. Each entry includes space for the character's name, a brief description, the actor's name (with a link to their listing in the Internet Movie Database), a list of the episodes in which the character has appeared, and (in most cases) a picture of the character. I have a few questions..
 Does the submit link only work for new characters or can we submit information for characters that are alread in the database? What are the rules for submitting? Most of the characters aren't from Season 8 so I'm assuming the spoiler rules don't apply? Are there things you can't put down? Is it possible to view the database by episode? I'm terrible at remembering names and instead of viewing alphabetically, it'd be cool to do it by episode - I can usually remember those |

You can submit any character (or add additional info for a character) to the database.
I do have several dozen submissions I need to compile and add, which will probably happen in December. As for viewing by episode, I plan to add links from the credits pages to the database, so you will be able to look up anyone in an episode (who is credited) that way. Many people overlook the credits pages, which you can reach from the episode guide. Click the "credits" link under each episode. |
