Yeah.. Isn't Australia like the best in the world in cricket and rugby? I recall hearing something about them winning the past 5 or 6 world competitions in rugby and something similar with cricket.

Just to let you all know - Ashes 05 -Your "purple patch" is alll over. You get your world ranking uop to no.2 by slipping the odd bit of cash to the icc to get u coming up against sides like bangladesh so you think u are good. U guys just wait - it will be a full series white wash - every test - AUSTRALIA!!!!! PoMS SUK |

I hope the poms put up a fight cricket-wise!
The problem at the moment and I certainly am enjoying it, is that the "Baggy Greens" have dominated the international cricket scene for a decade. We have so many test quality players waiting to get a chance to play test cricket currently. Let's hope the ashes series is a balanced and exciting one! cheers MikeJ |

Only just. Both were very close.
Remember Australia is still #1 in world cricket by a long shot. Remember the "Australia Vs The World" series last year? Pwnage. Total Pwnage. England better enjoy the Ashes whilst they have them because we're taking 'em back this year. |

Hey how funny was it when the Poms thought they were the sh*t for beating us in the Ashes and then sent over their best two players (Flintoff and Pierterson) and we DESTROYED the "rest of the world" side in both forms of the game!!!!
Suck that Poms!! Cant wait till this years Ashes!!! If warnie gets out of all the trouble he's in he will own!!! |

This years Ashes's is gonna be so different from the last one... this time the Poms are playing on our turf!!!
Bring on the 40 degrees+ weather Don't think they can win in the Gabba or WACA... they'll bring in S.C.G Macgill for Sydney thus having 2 leggies which will create all sorts of chaos... Boxing Day is time where the Aussie's normally lift their game to another level The conditions in Aus will certainly favour us... & I only see the Poms capable of winning in Adelaide unless its stinking hot over there... Schedule: Thu 23 - Mon 27 Australia v England Brisbane Cricket Ground 1st Test Fri 1 - Tue 5 Australia v England Adelaide Oval 2nd Test Thu 14 - Mon 18 Australia v England W.A.C.A. Ground, Perth 3rd Test Tue 26 - Sat 30 Australia v England Melbourne Cricket Ground 4th Test Tue 2 - Sat 6 Australia v England Sydney Cricket Ground 5th Test VB Series teams 06/07: Australia England New Zealand |
