Isn't it obvious? Most fans do want to see Carter with O'Neill...even if she gets married she never gets called by her married name (Note: all episodes she has been married in an Alternate Reality).

There was only one episode "point of veiw" where Dr Samantha Carter was Married to Jack, in here reality she lost her Jack three days earlyer when he tryed to defend the mountain. They just celurbrite there first wedding anniversry. In" There but for grace of god" Jack and Sam were engarge. |

She obviously should marry Jack because... well... I don't need to say. It was more or less fan "destiny" that they should.
However sadly she will marry Pete, unbelievably awful and I hope that the writers allow J/S to have permission from the president for saving the planet, or something ridiculous, which allows them to be together! It is a sad state of affairs when we say "should marry" and we know it most likely will never be "will marry"... our thoughts on Stargate "destiny" will never be. Well if Sam dose marry Pete, all J/S shippers will go crazy, nuts, and all the fans will be write mad to Amanda Tapping and to the writers of Stargate SG1, just to let them know how they feel about it and i read some where that Amanda said that she has been getting alot of fan mail to let her know that her cartuer Sam should be with Jack not Pete. All we can do is just keep sending those letters to them all. Hopefully some thing might happen to keep us fans happy. I have found a site where there are J/S shipper stories, i have read some and they are great to read. |

just because she gets engadged to Pete doesn't mean she'll marry him. there is still hope I say! and even if she foolishly does, he could still die in a tragic skiing accident or have an affair or do something generally stupid like that

I would love to see Sam marry Jack, but I am not really sure that we should actually see that happen in the show. I think it would be better to imply they are getting together and just leave it at that. I don't want to see a S/J wedding in the last episode of SG1.

It's the romantical story of the main characters. We long for seeing them together. Stargate is a modern adventure, Jack's the hero, Sam is his sidekick, and friendship becomes love. If I had a pound for every time someone asked that question... Shipper comes from an abbreviated form of the word relationship Technically it ought to be written 'shipper (with and apostrophe before it). I'm thinking Sam doesn't wear her engagement ring at work for the same reason I don't wear mine at work. Because it's bloody irritating when you catch it on everything, and you're scared stupid of losing it or breaking it. I'm now gonna point out that Sam doesn't seem to be wearing her, much talked about, friendship bracelet in New Order. Just something I noticed. |

Yeah, I've noticed that too, and on my Deviantart account it seemed to be my favorite thing to harp on for a while, saying that it may have been saying something by the fact that she doesn't wear it. Perhaps, she feels uneasy about her new relationship with Pete and feels as though she is rushing a bit. I mean, compared to her other boyfriends, Pete runs on the boring shallow end. She really hasn't mentioned him afterwards either...strange is it that she loves him, but he is seen very rarely and is brought up rarely and not without much tension in the air around her, it doesn't even matter if it's Daniel she's talking to about Pete, there's just a very tense moment when he is brought up. |

I have also notice that she dosn't wear the ring. I saw the episode "Affintity" the part were Jack went to see Sam in her lab. He knows that there was some thing wrong. this part was interesting. what do you think, that is if you saw the episode.
"what about you, if things were diffrent" Sam "I wouldn't be here" Jack. Notice that they look into one another's eyes and of cause the music in the back round. I think she was hoping that he would say some thing else or more. Any way i don't wear my enagement ring much cause of my work. I am a milker on two farms. I only wear my wedding ring all the time. Its not good idea to where her ring at work. Jewelry is forbiddion while on duty in alota of installations, for safety reasons. Seeing how Sam works with alot of machinery, its understanable. Things like neclaces and rings tend to get caught up on things. That's a good way to get strangeled or lose a finger. Safety first.

I doubt she wears it outside of work. I don't know if they've shown her out of work since the episode (I haven't noticed). If they've shown her out of work since that episode since then, I'd like to know. |

Check out the episode "convenant" it is the eighth episode from the season. I hope this might help. I have notice even in the episode she wasnt wearing the ring, even off base. |

I hope she marries Jack, but Pete seems like a likelier option.
