Pt. 1 ended when Teal'c hugged O'Neill and went through the Stargate to Chulak.

QUOTE
... . I've been on a couple of RDA fan sites on occasion, and that pic kinda looks like Wylie, RDA's daughter when she was younger. Or it might be one of the cast's/crew's kids, but that looked like a little girl to me. Just something I actually got to see on TV instead of on my laptop.

Actually it looks like the baby photo of Charlie from Cold Lazarus in the box from O'Neill's locker.

I loved this ep. sooo much subtext! Classic Stargate! I loved the whole Crossword puzzle thing, up, down, charmed, strange! Quarks! I should have been paying more attention! rolleyes.gif Associating burns as a goauld LoL! and his collection goes to Siler!
"I was driving, you know, in my car..." OMG! that was like the cheesiest line, even for Stargate! Why has Teal'c suddenly got a thing for dougnuts? Maybe that's why we're seeing him in the gym more whistling.gif I liked Weir, she was willing to listen to what O'Neill said and give him a fair chance, not just be under Kinsey's thumb. She seemed to fit in pretty well to me, too bad she's not staying. They whole shaving scene at the start was great (If the queer eye guys where watching him shave they would have freaked!) I'm surprised the crossword wasn't in shreads by the end with all the snatching and getting it wet in the bathroom.

Good episode overall...

Though i didn't quite like O'Neill's attitude at the ruins after the gliders showed up. Surely he did understand the importance for their mission to be successful. Yet, he seemed a bit off and having everybody explain every bit to him at that moment is not very agreeable to me.

On another note how does up, down, charmed... lead to strange....?

I don't know if anyone's noticed (I really didn't want to read all of this discussion) but the very end of this episode brought me a deju vu feeling. You remember the end of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back? Hans Solo was frozen into a block of ice and the scence with him and Lea was so similiar with this Jack and Sam touching the ice part!

This also brings to mind how much RDA sometimes reminds me of Harisson Ford, Jack is so like Hans Solo sometimes!

Which download are you talking about, the one where he first gets the information from the repository? or when he recovers in 'New Order'?

Yeah funny, it was also funny with the crossword at the start.

Carter:"the atomic mass of boron. its ten."
O'Neill:"yeah."
Carter:"you wrote the word fat."
O'Neill:"Your point?."
