It might be in MGM's best interests to sell off interests in other areas to drum up some money.

It also mentioned that Shar'e was given to Daniel as a gift. Imagine getting a gift like that <!#emo&:)#> Yes Daniels' wife was given to him as a gift by her father. Watch the film where SG-1 originates. From this film the series started. |

well i suppose its because he was looking for a mate and he wanted to take as amny women as he can from differant planets and see which one suits his liking. Apophis was looking for a host that would suit his queen, hence Shar'e was chosen by his mate symbiote. He travelled many worlds to find a suitable host and that's why there was practically a harem on Chulak. Any woman that displeased his queen was killed, just like the army officer taken from Earth. As you've seen in Children of the Gods, his queen was carried by a temporary host like the Jaffa; whom has a pouch rather than actually connected via the spine. However I am curious about one thing: Who was that woman Apophis' queen was carried in? Was the woman who carried the queen, now a host that Apophis and his queen has grown tired of? Or was it actually just a temporary thing rather than being in stasis? Any ideas? |

However in the Director's Cut of "Children of the Gods", we did get to see one female Jaffa (as one of the Jaffa that were killed when they first came through the stargate). This early in the series, they gave the larval Gou'ald more "sentience" than they have later on. Amaunet was the first we saw, so they made her uber picky. Later on, we see mature Gou'ald (and Tok'Ra) jumping from host to host willy-nilly without much concern. Back to your question though, it's likely that the Amaunet's priestess was given another larva shortly after Amaunet entered Shau're. |

Now it won't bubble my brain anymore. Haha! |
