This was such a good episode, My favorite line was from teal'c when he said: "Undimesticated equines could not remove me from this position." Then how jack kept getting more injured through the whole episode was depressing.

Loved this episode. I especially love the relationship that is developing between Teal'c and O'neill, err I mean friendship. Amazing acting from RDA. Would have liked to have known more about the species inhabiting the sphere.

this is one of my favorite episodes....i love the beginning when they are walking in spacesuits...wish they had more stuff like that, instead of always arriving in some place that looks like canada....one complaint though- when carter says this little orb thing could destroy the entire planet i was like "oh come on" i mean that just felt too unrealistic...if she said destroy the state of colorado yeah i could beleive that amazingly....but yeah i loved the blue light stuff and jack and teal'c talking to each other and teal'c tellling a joke...great stuff

wish they had more stuff like that, instead of always arriving in some place that looks like canada It's down to their budget. Flming on location costs them money and since money is a limited commodity for the show they cant spend it all within a few episodes. |

Jack was hurt so Teal'c had to take over the comedy in this one. Loved the moon like planet they started off on. It is always nice to see them on another planet that does not look like earth. I don't like to see Jack in pain! Over all I really liked this one.

QUOTE I wont pretend to know a lot about space or planets wouldn?t take millions of years for a planet go from being able to hold life to zero atmosphere. Actually, it is said at the beginning of the episode how long it took for that planet to transform into a moon-like planet from a life sustaining planet... 100,000 years. And that is a very plausable period, it can happen in less time... » Click for Spoiler « |

I knew what you meant. You just brought up a good nitpick. It just shows there is no consistency in the show. They tended to ignore precedence set up in the first season.

I didn't like this episode that much. The idea was good, but the way they used it wasn't like I would have expected. Those arms didn't seem that strong, they seemed to me like they were made of plastic or something, they looked pretty flexible. Poor Jack, it was unfortunate for him to get caught in one of those arms. I can see that Teal'c got pretty attached to him alright.
