What did you think was good? I missed what you were saying?

I think he means how good it was to have an alliance of Tok'Ra fighting the Goa'uld.

I really liked this one becuase we see that there are rebel Goa'uld who are going to help us in the future. I would have thought that all of the Goa'uld are stupid becuase its pretty difficult to have an entire race living throughout the Galaxy and not even the slightest uprising anywhere.

I thought this ep. Was good It introduces us to the tokra. Even there was not much action which I think is vital for a good SG-1 ep. I think it was very important not just to the season but to the hole series.

question1.gif OK, rewatching this episode last night, something occurred to me.

When Garshaw is introducing Selmac/Seroush to SG1, she says she will be "203 of your years, in a few of your days". Um...how does she know how long an Earth year/day is? The Tok'ra have never had prior contact with Earth, and their human hosts will all come from planets with different year lengths depending on their orbits. And somehow I can't see that being one of the topics being discussed during the whole "You're Goa'uld we hate you/you're human we don't like you" catfight when they first meet biggrin.gif

Any ideas? Confuzzled.gif

The measure of time by different races is always going to be a nitpick and because there is never going to be an adequate explanation, people just generally ignore it. In one episode Teal'c says he will be 102 (I think) in around 48 days. We don't know if he is calculating by days and years of Chulak or Earth.
In the point that you made, we can only speculate that SG-1 told the Tok'Ra how long an Earth day and year is.

The To'kra knew about the Tauri. You would think they would know about the time periods on Earth. I would think that is how they were able to say she will be 203 of your earth years.

Sarah Douglas played the most important of the To'Kra. I have to ask,

They most likely couldn't get her back to reprise her role. 'Divide and Conquer' spoiler:

I guess, in relation to the plot, she was killed as Teal'c says she is the most hunted (or dispised) Tok'Ra of all.

But she's survived for thousands of years in that condition, it would be a bit coincidental if she were to be gotten just now for that reason. I've wondered about her before as well, I just presumed as daf said they couldn't get the actress back for whatever reason.

That is what I'm thinking also. That they couldn't get the actress. Yes she was the most hated and feared, but I would have thought if she was dead, they would have said something, especially after the alliance.
