Season 3, Episode 14 - Foothold
Original Air Date: November 5, 1999

En route to the infirmary after a mission, SG-1 learns that part of the SGC has been sealed off due to a chemical leak. Soon after, Dr. Fraiser injects each member of the team with a sedative, rendering them unconscious. Teal'c is the first to awaken, and secretly observes Dr. Fraiser and General Hammond talking with two aliens.

This was a good episode, I think i put it as one of my favorites in another coloum. But was this the first time Major Davis appears or did he feature in another episode before this.

nope they have alien rights instead but alien or human what the hell does it matter just shoot him anyway or find some means of killing him im normally up for a long slow death but quick,slow or just plain torture just kill him or do summin. mad.gif alien.gif

When did Davis first show up??

The aliens here I thought they could have done a better job with - just boring I thought. But I loved the episode overall, and good to see that technology come back again in later seasons.

The best part of this episode is when Sam meets Maybourne and calls him an idiot. It has to be what everyone was thinking at that point.

Those aliens know all that the SGC knows and got away with that info. They are a greater threat than the Goa'uld in that respect. One day they might send an IDC back and get the Iris to open only to rush back in and take over the place again.

Yeah, it was one of the few (if not the only) times. I noticed that after Sam was proved right, he was more or less letting her call the shots. That would be very difficult for a guy with his mind set.
