The megalomania in all of us. Best left to our subconscious and never to see the light of day! Know what I mean?

Everyone wants to be the President of the world. Even if we do not admit it to ourselves the desire to be all powerful is there.

I agree, I had no idea this episode would end that way. I was wondering how they were going to 'reset' the show. I'm not too sure but I don't think that the military would have listened to Daniel at all, in fact they would have just used him and not the other way around. Especially when he starts telling everyone what to do. This episode was pretty sweet though, it just goes to show you the potential of what someone with that much power could do. Not only that, but like the Tollan said, we would just use the technology to kill ourselves instead of the Goa'uld. This episode shows that point exactly, poor Moscow. Overall, the special fx were really good in this one, but I think when they pull the rug out from under your feet at the end of the episode you almost feel cheated in some way. Still, I'd rewatch it if given the chance, it's still an excellent episode.
