Ok episode. Kind of makes you bang your head a bit when they didn't enact the plan to vent the atmosphere.
I think I know what is causing the ship wide anomalies. That guy that disappeared from the chair probably has something to do with it. And I'm with everyone else that is confused on why the Lucian Alliance would want the Destiny. An old ship that is stuck on the other side of the universe does not seem like something I would want. |

It's still a yummy piece of technology, remember that the Lucian alliance is still using ha'tak vessels while as Earth already has got far superior tech at its disposal considering the access to databases of the Asgard and of Atlantis. Even so, Destiny still holds many secrets which can be discovered not only by the Lucian Alliance, but also by the alien race of the SGU. btw. Hi |

Personal ascended guardian angel, huh? Yeah someone had guessed he had ascended and I was really hoping they weren't going that route. I'm really sick of the ascended beings. But it does seem like he might possibly have been "ascended" into the ships AI. Maybe. |

I really enjoyed this episode and I can say now that I like the show. It's been good lately. I knew the SGC wasn't going to get control of that planet, it would have been too convient to the plot.
I was also sure that the planet was going to be destroyed once the gate was connected. I thought it was great that Telfer ended up on the ship. I did not see that happening at all. I was annoyed that they didn't use their plan, and just try to resuscitate Rush. I'm excited for the next episode and season finally. I also think that the missing guy is going to be in the ship's computer and helping them out. |

I agree that the guy uploading himself into the computer makes more sense than ascending, although I don't see how freezing the room/body disappearing would have anything to do with it.
You may be right. Looks like that shield "glitch" was deliberately aimed at the bad guy. Possibly, but I don't see how it was helpful. They had a trap ready, it's not like they were going to be surprise attacked. |

Yeah something is definitely up with the ships AI. Rush also made the comment that they dropped out of FTL but the countdown clock didn't activate.
Another thought would be that a Milky Way ascended being also boarded the Destiny during the incursion. But again I don't like the ascended beings. I'm sick of them at this point. |
