I'm finding this show does a poor job at following up on past events. Did I miss something but what happened to the scientist that sat in the chair? Unless I missed it they haven't addressed it.

They've actually addressed it on every episode during the recap. He is currently comatose in the sickbay. |

I liked this episode. The conflict between the two sides was much more interesting than it was in the first part of the season |

Those recaps don't count. They certainly do, or else you wouldn't need them. He got skewered in the head and he's been in scikbay ever since. Not to mention that in the episode prior to this one, they mentioned that he was still in sickbay and couldn't be the "stone controller". *shrug* |

I agree the recaps don't count, because they aren't knew information. But that conversation about the comm stones explained, if you remembered that it was the same guy. Honestly, that happened before I started really paying attention to the episode. I wonder what prevented the aliens from taking Destiny. They've proven that they can get on board, and the ship doesn't require the Ancient gene. It seems to me that they should have had plenty of time to do that if they were obsessed with the ship. Chloe pisses me off. Now she won't (shouldn't anyway) have Eli or Scott |

It's a reminder in case you forgot something. It's not meant to give new information. But if you watched it, you'd know the guys a vegetable in sickbay when last we knew. If they don't give anything new, that's gonna still be the case. *shrug* I wonder what prevented the aliens from taking Destiny. We don't know if the first ship we saw was manned or not. It could have been another monitor. According to Rush they never could actually get on the ship (I took this to mean IN the ship) because of automatic defenses. But we still don't know if Rush is working WITH them. So we won't know for some time yet, I'm sure. |

Yeah, that's what I meant. They couldn't get in the ship, but they were able to get on easily enough to kidnap Chloe. Interesting proposition. Rush is still a very sleazy character I would not put anything past him, this episode was very reminiscent of Battlestar Galactica and the deepening differences the Military and Civilians had in that show. |
