Years after SG1 has ended and I'm still just as big a fan as ever.. amazing.
To the point... from what I understand about black holes is they are pretty much entities with gravity so intense that it sucks in anything and everything. It takes and takes and then takes some more.. so how can it possibly 'give' energy to a stargate? I don't pretend to know anything about physics so I guess I am at your collective mercy. Please teach me |

The Stargate can obsorb energy from the environment around it. if it's in a place where the black hole is sucking energy past the gate, technically the gate should be able to obsorb as much of that energy as it needs/ or is available.
