I found the transcript for the episode on Gateworld, here is the part in question:

LATER. Young and Greer are walking along a corridor.

YOUNG: ... and while I don't condone behaviour of that kind in any way, shape or form, I-I've gotta say ... the look on Telford's face when you put him down was priceless! Complete and total shock!

GREER: He was surprised, yes, sir!

(They both chuckle.)

YOUNG: I guess you can say you even got away with it.

(Greer stops, his face sad.)

GREER: Just, uh, sorry that I - that I disappointed you, sir.

YOUNG: You're a good man, Sergeant, I know that. Besides, the bastard had it coming.

(Greer stares back at him for a moment, then grins.)

GREER: Yes, sir, he did.

(They both laugh, then Young becomes serious again.)

YOUNG: So long.

(Instantly, Greer raises his hand and salutes the colonel.)

YOUNG (gently): At ease, Ronald.

(Greer holds the salute a moment longer, then lowers his arm and takes the hand which Young is offering him. They shake.)

It seems as though they are talking about when Greer hit the other marine but since they refer to Telford (when he wasnt aboard or using the communication device), we have to assume they are talking about when Greer was in the brig before they arrived on Destiny.

Okay so it was Telford that he hit. Good for Greer. I want to hit him at times myself. I like the actor LDP, but right now, his character is extremely annoying and arrogant. Hey maybe Jack can lay him down. wink.gif

I like the human aspect of this ep. I just wanted to be there for Ming-Na lol.

and why is the recharge only 40%... can't it just store more plasma?

I'm getting the impression that it's due to the damage to the ship over time. Not to trivialize Ancient Tech, but imagine what happens to a cordless phone over time. Eventually the rechargable battery must be replaced because the maximum charge it holds is no longer able to run the device for an appropriate amount of time.

Thats a great point.

Plus I think someone said that only the reserves are recharged, the Main power is still gone.

Actually that is a good comparison. I use rechargable batteries, and yes, after awhile, they just do not hold the same type of charge for as long. We know that the Ancients are capable of just about anything. Their technology is leaps ahead of everyone. I'm beginning to believe that maybe they couldn't imagine a ship lasting this long and going this far out. They set it up, but this ship, I believe, has surpassed what they imagined it would be capable of, so consequently, there would be problems.
