Okay, I have no idea if this will be any good or not, but it may have potential. Kind of Indiana Jones meets X-Files, maybe?

Heard about it, didn't seem that interested. The problem for me is that it doesn't sound like it will be that groundbreaking or new, it doesn't sound like something that will grab audiences (lack of attention leads to cancellation), and it just doesn't sound like it will be that interesting imo. Just another X-Files clone years on. You can usually tell the shows on Sci-fi that will do well, and the ones that will fall by the wayside. And this looks to be in the latter imo....
But check it out, why not. But as for new scripted shows, check out Caprica. The pilot is available to watch on DVD (hence I've seen it) and it was incredibly good imo. I more checked it out of curiosity rather then wanting a BSG spin-off but the show it is, and that it's created is very strong... |

I will be checking out Caprica simply because it's the same people doing it. My one problem with this new show, Warehouse 13, except for the man in charge of the warehouse, I don't know anyone and they simply do not look interesting.

Thats one of the reasons I don't get into that many new shows. There are so many shows, that if I don't see someone I recognize then I don't give a lot of thought unless the show is a recommendation. I only watch True Blood because it has Anna Paquin, and I only watched Eureka after the pilot because I love Salli Richardson, and I recognized Joe Morton. |

I'm going to give this series a chance, but mostly I'm biased about it as Joe Flanigan is guest starring in an episode!!

Doesn't he live in America though? And fly out for the Atlantis shoots on weekdays. He probably got the gig though as Sy-Fy knew that it would help promote the show. Does he? I thought that only RDA lived in the US and everyone else from both SG1 and SGA lived in Canada, but I could be wrong. |

Yeah I Wikipedia'd it, he has a house in Canada that he lives in during the week and flies back to LA to be with his family on weekends. Also Flannigan isn't his birth name, he was adopted by his uncle at a really young age so his name was changed to his uncle's surname. His inital birthname was Dunnigan. And he shares a birthday with Paul McGillion. [/Random facts about Joe Flannigan] This post has been edited by Invisible Painting: Jun 27th 2009, 6:50 PM |

I watched it yesterday and it was quite excellent.
The story was good, the characters were interesting, and the episode left me, as a member of the audience, wanting to see more. I will be watching this show. |

So I watched the pilot today. I was watching Eureka on the channel today, and they had an advertisement, stay tuned for the new show Warehouse. Consequently, I stayed tuned to watch it. I'm glad that I watched it live since it was 2 hours and I had not known that. I would have missed the second hour in taping it.
Okay, can we say shades of Raiders of the Lost Ark? The Warehouse, » Click to Show Spoiler « Then the end with the two agents, » Click to Show Spoiler « I have to admit that I'm interested to see where they will go with it. |

I watched the second episode and was rather bored with it. They had been advertising all week that Tricia Helfer (BSG) would be on it. Yet her part was practically nothing. I hope it picks up or I won't continue watching it.

Well I have given this show a chance. I have watched all 3, I believe, episodes and they just do not come up smelling like roses. I feel it's a very poor imitation of X-Files, with some Indiana Jones thrown in as well. I don't like any of the characters at all. What is truly upsetting is that syfy is reshowing a previous episode after a new Eureka on Fridays instead of the series Primeval, which is vastly entertaining and so much better.

Tonight's episode was the first one that I have liked since the opener. Joe Flanigan was on it, but I don't think that was why. It was just a more interesting story.
I still feel it's a poor imitation of X-Files, with comedy thrown in along with a little Indiana Jones. |

I never watched X-Files, though I rather like the theme music.
I like this series. I am quite pleased with the addition of Claudia to give Artie someone to play with. It's clever with good characters and a lot of room to grow. |

It's clever with good characters and a lot of room to grow. Claudia was a nice addition to the show. I like her wit and banter with Artie. Claudia has a much more youthful and edgier look to things. It makes for good dynamics with Artie. Edit: We just spoke about the addition of Claudia and she was not part of the episode tonight. It seemed to be more about Artie. I like the male lead, but I'm just not too sure about the female one. This post has been edited by IndyJan: Aug 19th 2009, 3:18 AM |

Watched Warehouse tonight and it is one that I thoroughly enjoyed. It had to do with Alice and her glass and the Studio 54 Disco Ball.
