Airman Group: Members Posts: 51 Joined: July 27th 2004 Member No.: 5,783 Gender: Male	From what I have read about the pilot epsiode they are attack by someone and are forced to use the gate to escape. But who could attack them . There are no enemies left that would be fighting SG teams. I read that it is rush that dials the gate and they expected him to dial earth but they end up on Destiny. Is it possible that rush orchestrated the attack?.

Is it possible that rush orchestrated the attack?. They must set the plot at something. If nobody attacked them, if there were no enemies, I doubt the show would raise any interest. Yes, there are no enemies left in our known galaxies, but let's not forget the premise of the show, they're connecting through the Stargate to a place far, far away... Anyone could be attacking them. You could have an idea. » Click to Show Spoiler « One thing I do know, apparently there will be some deaths during season 1. If your theory holds up, that might be one of the casualties.

On Stargate, » Click to Show Spoiler « they faced other enemies besides the Goa'ulds, at the same time, I saw each Goa'uld as a separate enemy. Each had their own thing, yes they all wanted hosts, but they were also infighting, not always on the same side. On SGA, they mainly just had the Wraith, with the Replicators thrown in once in awhile. I just never truly took to the Wraith as an actual enemy. So I think having various once could be good for the show.

And also... » Click to Show Spoiler « even though Lou Michael Philips appears in the trailer apparently he was flying an X-302 against the Lucian Alliance Gliders so he only appears in the first few minutes of the pilot episode only and most of the material he is showcased in the trailer has been removed as well

He has his own agenda/obsession, whatever. He has been written at least in this first 2 hours as someone that simply cannot be trusted. I would think it would be easy for him to let the Lucian Alliance know about the base. Lou Diamond Phillips, » Click to Show Spoiler « is supposed to be part of the cast. So I'm assuming they will continue to use the awful back and forth to get him on once again, since he was fighting the Lucian Alliance.
