Ahh Wraith humour, fantastic
But overall very good episode, but for the premonition that Atlantis gets attacked by Replicators how do we know that was Atlantis and not a Replicator city, it's possible they might have a reason to somewhere down the line. But I'm glad they've left that thread hanging. QUOTE With the list of possibilities her storyline presented, including ignoring it as they did AT's in SG1, the mysterious Athosian who's conveniently missing plot is among the top 3 in bad ideas. Storyline about Athosians was already decided to go ahead before the news of Teylas pregnancy came through. They wanted to take Teyla down a darker path and that was a big role in it, when they found out RL was pregnant they ajusted the pregnancy around the storyline and altered it, not the other way around. QUOTE(Nagger) -Most of these episodes are stand alone so far. No...every episode that is individual you complain it's individual, every episode that is arc based but doesn't go EXACTLY how you like you say it's individual as YOUR arcs are not developed. This is the show, if you don't like the show as it is watch something else, they're offering a product, decide if you want to consume it.This post has been edited by Invisible Painting: Nov 18th 2007, 1:01 PM |

Really?! I had no idea, but I like it. I can see Teyla darker because of this, it was the right move. Still disappointed they chose to do the pregnancy this way, and it's skewed my perspective of the episode and her pregnancy, but stepping away from that part, yes. Intriguing. |

To be honest, that was my first thought, but then they seemed so certain it was a replicator ship that I figured maybe the CGI just wasn't that clear Well we have seen that the Asurans build Aurora-type warships, but now that the Travelers have one of their own, it opens the possibilities. |

I was assuming (without the obvious connotations) that they were going with the father of Teyla's baby being that Athosian, who was missing. Which at this point would be the obvious possibility. I'm still hoping the father will be somebody a little closer to home, only because the dynamic would be more interesting. A one-time workplace sexual encounter blossoms into parenthood... this is not unheard of. |

I enjoyed this one. Much better than last week to be sure. One thing I was wondering, though. Why didn't they try to help Davos ascend? If he was really that much more advanced, maybe he had the ability?? Now we'll never know. I think that was a wasted opportunity.

There is a minimum level of neural activity necessary for it, and it was not mentioned at all in this episode. |

You can permanently ban me from this message board now. You're all just a bunch of nerds unwilling to admit the show sucks. You lie to yourselves because you need this show to stay around. Without it being on you won't have anything to jerkoff too on Friday nights.
Most of you are arrogant youths that think you are superior to everyone simply because you like and study physics. You all dream of being important but most of you will go nowhere. Go fu** yourselves. |

And for the record, us 'arrogant youth nerds who study physics' usually have not only a bigger brain, but a more imaginitive one as well, so you should usually carefully consider our opinions as valid. You are the arrogant one who knows not to handle a situation with diplomacy. Zomg! A single former-fan no longer likes the show and thinks it should be cancelled! Whatever shall we do? Without the support of this single person, the show shall surely fail!
I am glad you have lost faith in the show, much the same way humanity has lost faith in you. |

Overall, I liked this episode. However, I am getting sick and tired of the writing staff continueing to borrow some, most, or all of a previous SG-1 storyline.
In this particular episode it was only a small part, but still borrowed. Remember the Retro ?? They also wanted to eliminate the humans to eliminate hosts for the Goa'uld. With the addition of the Travele |

The second step would be for them not to be allowed to borrow from any of the folliwng SciFi Greats: Star Trek (all versions), Babylon5, SG-1. This should force writers to be more creative. The only problem with that is that nowadays just about everything has been done before by at least a couple of people. I've never studied physics.... not smart enough. I'm more of a hands on creative person.... (to borrow a line from Pitry) Where does that leave me? |

And tell me Mr God where are you exactly? Where has your life taken you? Oh right.....probably your post count. A good portion of which seems to be dedicated to how much he hates the show. Putting so much time and effort into going online and going on and on about how much he hates something...that seem pathetic to anyone else? It does to me. Obviously JRV, you also need the show to go on, because without something for you to hate every Friday night, your life has no meaning. And by the way, I never studied physics either. I still think I'm superior to you though, because I'm not a fucktard. *(Goes off to snag some of Pitry's cake) |
