So we no our ship took down 2 ori ships. 1 of the 3 original ships that rocked up in the asgard galaxy and 1 of the ships chasing them in hyper space. now 2 of the original 3 went after the asgard by the looks headed toward there planet and assumably got blown up when the planet did.. so does that mean in enending, 4 ships were taken down? out of 6 or 7 ori ships that were left??

I assumed that of the three that were chasing Odyssey, two were destroyed. One was destroyed then the Odyssey escaped into hyperspace. It exited hyperspace took out the second of the three Ori ships and escaped again. The ship that was in front of Odyssey while it was in the time bubble, was the third ship seen originally tracking Odyssey.

The weapon destroyed ascended beings... it had a short fuse... it is likely that it was a one use device and that it had anti-tamper features.

If I were Merlin, I would have had it create a disruption field as soon as the jewel was inserted... when activated, its energy disruption field encompassed an entire galaxy... since it wasn't brought back through and used, we can guess it worked... probably... and that it is gone.

Since 'The Shroud' they have said the Ori have been killed. The only Ori left is Adria as she ascended after the Sangral was activated.
The Sangreal wasn't a bomb in the conventional sense, as Revan said, it was a weapon that destroyed ascended beings. Kvasir said that it worked by interfering with the energy of the Ori, like two opposite standing waves that cancel each other out.

I never said taht it was a bomb. As Daf pointed out, it probably generated a signal that "canceled out" the energy of the Ori.

you would think if it was not a bomb, it would not of destroyed it self after been used, kinda like the weapon at dakara. really the ori should have the weapon now unless the energy that kills asscended ppl also can destroy the material the bomb was made out off, which was some kind of element with crystles on it.

How would the Ori get the weapon? The weapon KILLS ASCENDED BEINGS, and since the Ori are ascended beings, they would have been killed if the weapon worked. If the weapon didn't work, they would have no use for it.
