It is deductive reasoning, even though absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Some assume the Ori galaxy has stargates, but we have never seen them and as far as I know they were never referenced. All we saw so far was a ring platform, and we heard Vala talk about one... and we don't know that they used any gates at all. The book found under Glastonbury said that the Alterrans came here and deposited gates... So it could make sense that they didn't have them while they were in the Ori galaxy... I dunno though, it's a bit of a stretch. EDIT: I pre-ordered the DVD, but it doesn't come until next week... |

Doubt it, I doubt the alterans were thinking about universal planet exploring/seeding when leaving the Ori galaxy, they were just retreating before the Ori wiped them out because of their beliefs in science rather than religion. I think the fact that made us assume that the Ori galaxy has gates, other than the points that you mentioned, are they the Priors come to the MW through the gate, and the fact that they built a supergate. |
