I suppose the early release has to do with the 2 movies coming out later in the year. Best be saving our pennies then.

July, eh? That's good. I'll put a shrink-wrapped 10 next to my still-shrink-wrapped season 9.
I'm toying with the idea of doing an ep-a-day thing starting with the very first episode and work through the entire show, probably starting in the the fall when I'm not going nuts with two jobs. So that's..what?...about 6 - 7 months' worth of viewing? Plus, I thought I'd come in here and post in the ep discussion threads for each one. I've posted in some, but it'll be interesting to take notes and really go through each episode in retrospect. Call it my final meaningful contribution for this forum on SG-1. A complete and thorough analysis of each and every episode. Coming in the Fall of 2007.... |

Apparently, according to Mallozzi's blog, there will also be a teaser for Stargate: Continuum on the season 10 boxset which includes footage filmed in the Arctic.

Here's the artwork for the set: I've never seen worse and more shitty cover. And the lack of Vala on the cover, hello she's the MAIN CAST member in season 10 and the member of SG-1!!!, is just WRONG. I hope MGM is going to realize their mistake and change the photo into 5-members one. And no frelling airbrush! |

I agree with Vill I like the colour, it goes with the Ori colours and I think suits it. A good change. However I have to agree with Kalliope where is Vala? She really does need to be in there I do hope that is changed as well.

It's complete guessing on everything based on the region 1 release, and the description they have for it is hardly accurate... |

Exactly, especially that Gerak died in season 9... but the Special Features they mentioned for season 10 are accurate, I think. It's more the fact that for the special features every single one has TBC written next to it, because they are just guessing because it's on the US release. While they probably will be on it (which is my guess why they haven't been released region 2 yet, as mallozzi's been working on stuff to put on it in time for the US release, and as a result delayed everyone elses viewing of it.) it is just complete guessing. |

Well, they've announced the individual volumes in the UK will be released in August onwards. Amazon link to Atlantis 3.1 What are they thinking is this a joke? I thought the delay was because they'd decided not to release them individually and to just put them out in a boxset instead first. Why the 5 month delay? I'm not going to bother getting them now, may as well just wait the few months extra for the boxset now, which will probably be in febuaryish still.

I found it truly bizarre that this DVD set came complete with Rising.
It even came in its own non-thinset DVD case, all by itself, with no apparent purpose... Anybody else find that sad/odd? |

I guess to turn people onto Atlantis now that SG-1's finished, MGM want money to carry on being spent on it and everyone they sell onto it by getting them into the pilot can potentially spend $100+ on Atlantis. So that's probably why but still a bit odd. |
