Lol, that was pretty funny
 I've only seen clips from the original but it does seem different. Good video though, reminds me of the stargate cantina one. |

You do realize that your statement almost shows your lack of an appreciation for the original? I thought the video was pretty good when I first saw it about a month ago. Does a good job of pointing out the differences between the two shows, while at the same time paying homage to the original in an uplifting and commedic way. |

I agree. I liked Farscape's made up words. And not because of the words, but because of the way they were used. They didn't just say the words to say them, it really seemed to flow in normal conversation. Then I watched BSG.... it was almost annoying when they used frack because it just didn't mesh with a normal conversation. It was like they were trying to put far too much emphasis on the words rather than the conversation they were having.

If they say frak once, they say it at least 20 times per show. It loses it's meaning after that. I firmly believe that TPTB of BSG wanted to be able to swear and get it past the censors, so they came up with a totally different word. So far it flies, but if it makes it into the dictionary, with an inappropriate meaning, like I said, it may get banned, LOL! |
