That has been known for some time. As long as Ba'al is in the episode it should be pretty good, given the huge drag that Morena Baccarin causes in every episode.

I hope not. I thought for sure Adria would be in the 1st movie I mean if they do it in this ep who is going to lead the Armies of the Ori in the movie?

The Doci? I'd like to see this character back, he's actually more evil than Adria.

Any of the other Priors would suffice... though I would expect it to hurt their resolve, if they lost their Orici.

I just thought it would be more dramatic if they keep her alive for the movie. I think they are shooting themselves in the foot if they do it in this ep (Sci-Fi is to blame for them shooting themselves in the foot) IMHO but this ep was rewritten (I think?) after the cancellation notice

The Doci was in 'Origin'. He was the person the Ori used to speak through.
The Doci would have been a much better leader for the Ori forces. Adria is terrible, I'm hoping that she is killed off in this episode.

Yes!

Killkillkillkillkillkill!.... (I've been at work for 10 hours now, and have 2 more to go... be kind...)

I've only ever found Adria to be dry, emotionless, and as a character, she has no depth, she's the daughter of a good guy (girl) and the leader of the bad guys, but that's it, that's the most interesting (only) thing she's got going for her. The Vala/Adria relationship was pointless "Adria, stop that!", I mean come on... as an actor she's talentless, flat, monotone, boring (she coulda played Borin of the Aschen)... in SG-1 at least, I haven't seen her in Firefly, so maybe she's a decent actress... maybe the character calls for behaviour of the aformentioned sort, but I've never liked Adria at all... every time she comes on the screen I cringe... and not cause she's scary and could destroy the universe. Ba'al was a kick ass baddie... but Adria... she belongs in a cheesy saturday morning cartoon... Transformers maybe....

Thank You and they should use the guy from Flesh and Blood too he was scary looking he is the one who took Adria when she was born I think and was going to kill Daniel until he grabed Vala and was beamed away.

Wow tell me how you really feel lol. I did see the actress in the movie Serenity but I haven't seen Firefly so I don't have alot to go on but I don't think she is bad. I think that is the character is if you ask me remember she was aged rapidly so maybe that's why she is that way. Well this ep sounds like we will get to see another side of Vala I like her character I think there is alot to her more than meets the eye.

The one-eyed Prior? Yes, he had a sinister look about him. Either he or the Doci would have been a better choice for the leader of the Ori forces. Adria does nothing a Prior can't do, there was absolutely no need for her to appear on the show.

Well... it was a consequence of the demand from the network to bring Claudia Black back to the show at the end of season 9 and the writers' choice to write Claudia's personal pregnancy (she was 7 months pregnant filming "Crusade") into the show... Of course the writers could have had an idea for the very early death of Vala's child, which would have been better probably, but they didn't.

Yeah, her pregnancy didn't have to be the will of the ori! I think alot of the episodes would have been better off without Adria.

They would be better if TPTB hadn't written wooden dialogue for the character.

Maybe she is suposed to be that way think about it she was aged rapidly so she couldn't mature emotionaly that's why she seems like she has no depth she had no life experence. The only people she had to guide her was the evil Ori people just a theory I don't think it was actress's fault it's TPTB's fault.

That is insightful.

I would wonder though... wouldn't the Ori genetically program her to be a charismatic leader?

Why did TPTB make Adria so stoic and unfeeling? Were they trying to make her seem logical and calculating?

I don't think the Ori cared if she was charismatic IMHO look how they rule with fear and intimidation they only care about having complete power over others, they are not loving gods they wanted her to have power to convert by force not feelings.

They didn't want you to like her I think. Yes I think so. She is single minded this is all she cares about just like them power but unlike the Gould they don't care about wealth They destroy what won't follow the Gould did too but it seems different to me and I have seen all of SG-1 now that can be seen ATM. I think they made her that way on purpose.
