btw the way the second movie is supposed to be a new series where every thing took a new path and the video game has been in the making for a long time. I have seen previews of it and it has great graphics and has a very neat layout

It doesn't tie in with any of the current storylines.QUOTE and the video game has been in the making for a long time. I have seen previews of it and it has great graphics and has a very neat layout Stargate: Worlds has been in development for around a year. Stargate: Alliance has been cancelled a long time ago. |

I know there is new series in development, it's working title is Stargate: Universe. It is, however, completely unrelated to Stargate: Continuum. TPTB themselves have said the second movie is standalone and does not follow any of the story arcs in SG-1.

When did I say the Goa'uld would be part of Universe? TPTB have said Universe will be a new series that will have it's roots in the mythology set down in SG-1 and Atlantis but will not be an extension of SG-1 and Atlantis. They have said there may be a familiar face making an occasional appearance but that is all.

Probably in the pilot episode, as it was with Stargate Atlantis, and maybe a few other episodes across a season. Well, there is a long time until they make Universe, so I see a lot of speculation in the future. |

Pfft. I'm not impressed with the storylines. The first is okay, that I'm excited for. But the second? It sounds like an episode more than a movie. O___X
» Click to Show Spoiler « Oh well. I want to be in the movie! Me wants to play Goa'uld! xDDD |

MGM has said that $7 million was spent on each of the upcoming Stargate movies and MGM’s senior executive vice president of finance and corporate development Charlie Cohen has also revealed that there are plans "to crank out more".
Martin Wood has made a comment in an interview saying that Stargate: Continuum is "the best thing we've ever done". |

I'm looking forward to both of them. Hearing Martin Wood say that gives me hope. I hope they both do well so that we have more of them. If they only do one or two a year, I'm hopeful that they can get everyone back for them. That would still allow them to do other things. |

This is part of the TEAM STARGATE missions from the official MGM website.
STARGATE: THE ARK OF TRUTH trailer can be screened at Stargate.MGM.com. I also forgot another important thing from TEAM STARGATE Exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes footage of STARGATE: CONTINUUM is available exclusively at Stargate.MGM.com. |
