I'd have to say that the stars of America's best two shows are some of the nicest people I've seen interact with an audience. The whole convention was a lot of fun.
Saturday Highlights: Tony Amendola, Bra'tac, was very erudite and recounted much of his career. He said that sci-fi is gaining credibility amongst many actors with the release of movies like Lord of the Rings. Obi Ndefo, This Ja'ffa (what's with the apostrophes)? wasn't very funny, but one could tell that he was a smart guy. Michael Shanks was about the nicest star you can meet. During my wife's and my picture with him, he greeted us very warmly and, during his QandA was the most animated star. He recounted several very funny stories including one where he put a pudding-stained paper on Chris Judge's floor. It seems Judge didn't care and even thought that it was his. He said he was working on a sit-com with Claudia Black, Vala, and from his performance on stage, he may just be funny enough to pull it off. By the way, he said that Black was a very funny person and a pleasure to work with. He also didn't like the way the Dragon came out on Quest in season 10. There weren't a whole lot of vendors, but a man was selling the SG-! comic which looked pretty good. They're set in between the real episodes. My Blog ![]() Michael shanks was very gracious with my wife and I. This post has been edited by nguirado: Nov 20th 2006, 12:57 AM |
