All I have to occupy my time right now is the commentary tracks on the SG-1 S9 DVDs... some of them are pretty useless, too...

I found season 2 for sale on amazon. It was not easy to find. You have to google "stargate atlantis season 2 dvd amazon" to get the link. It is coded region 2, will that play on my computer or regular dvd player? They have season 2 vol. 1 thru 5 for about 15 dollars for each with a 7 dollar shipping fee. So my question is can we watch them here. Looks looks like it was only released in the U.K........................NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!!

You can only watch them if you are in Region 2 or you have a multi region DVD player. The UK always gets the individual volumes but the corresponding boxset is released much later (usually around a year after the first volume is released).

Weeeellll.....IF you don't mind importing, and IF you have the ability to play discs from multiple regions (specifically Region 4), the Australian S2 Boxed set will be released in just under a week.....
I know I've brought this up many times before, but it eludes me as to how we can get such a great deal when it comes to the DVD releases, but such a rorting over the actual TV broadcasts. The second episode of S2 is airing here for the first time as I type this (11.30PM). Yet the entire SEASON is being released on DVD next Wednesday. Stargate Atlantis Season 2 is due for release in US/Canada markets (region 1) on March 6, 2007. See the announcement thread for more details. |
