It's a bit shocking that the Sci Fi channel hasn't been promoting this special since this means that Stargate will have a 3 hour lineup for primetime Friday with their all day marathon.
Maybe they will surprise me and actually show a commercial for it this week but it still seems a bit weird that all three trailers for the episode including sneak previews from Tuesday night's Eureka showings, haven't mentioned this special ONCE. Personally I didn't remember anything about this since it hasn't been publicized at all on the Sci Fi channel or any of the teasers. It seems sad that with all the publicity Stargate is getting in TV Guide lately, they haven't mentioned anything about this special as part of their Friday night lineup for the 200th episode. |

I think I'm going to tell my principal that due to my broken ankle, I need to take the scheduled teacher workday off to rest. It's not like I can do anything in my classroom since I'm still on crutches. Fourteen hours of Stargate are much more important than the first day of school!!!

Sigh, 14 hours, I think I am in heaven.
The sci-fi channel has been airing teasers about this episode since the end of July. Of course, not the special, just the 200th episode and the return of RDA! |

I've been looking forward to this for a long time. Jack is supposed to be in this one, right? Sadly, I won't see it when it airs, because I'm going to be watching Sam Jackson with motherf*cking snakes on a motherf*cking plane, but I'll tape it.

Was that they best cut-n-paste job they could do for Jack on the poster?

Ok I so want one but it is not working Arcady. WTF is Cam in the middle for? Em, I wondered that myself. They have made him the star, and for me, he isn't. I would have preferred Sam, Daniel and Teal'c, who have been there all along, especially CJ who has only missed 1 episode in the whole 10 years. I also wish they could have figured out a way to have Hammond, Janet and Jacob on. Since it's an idea/fantasy, it could have worked. |

I agree, I think it was a cut and paste for all of them. That is a common occurence with all group shots. If they cannot be in the same place at the same time, they will take all individual shots, and throw them together. Apparently these people have very busy schedules. |

Considering the entire cast has appeared in one episode together, it wouldn't be difficult for a photographer to set up a group shot. The least they could do is take some new shots of the cast then put them together.

Since these posters were given to cast and crew during the filming of the 200th episode, it would have been a little hard to shoot the picture during the filming.
Every single poster that has included more than two people has been a cut/paste job. I thought it was cool that the poster was made available to the general public at all, considering the pathetic state of Stargate merchandising. If you don't like it, you don't have to buy it. |

Is that not what is usually done? Except in special specific instances where the cast is in a particular area, a set for instance... What merchandising? Is there something besides the DVD sets that I must have missed... simply because I haven't looked in the store area recently... |
