Some of my favs: INGENUITY Yes, it is perfectly reasonable that Kirk had the know-how to make the gunpowder and put together the bazooka to defeat the Gorn. That's why he's the goddamn Captain. EXPENDABILITY Kirk, Spock, McCoy, and Ensign Ricky are beaming down to the planet. Guess who's not coming back. DIPLOMACY Words don't always solve problems. Sometimes you just have to punch an alien in the face. ALCOHOL The cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems. You kind of have to be a slight Uber Trek Nerd to get a lot of it! But if you are, it's just that much funner! |

My favorite is "Expendability."
What's really funny about this thread is that I just finished making a series of Starsky and Hutch inspirational posters. These things seem to be catching on. *waits patiently for the Stargate ones to appear* |

No you didn't have to be a star trek geek to find it funny. I generally hate star trek but some of those were funny. Although I didn't get some of them
Also xay someone here will create stargate ones now that you've just said that! This post has been edited by Invisible Painting: Aug 12th 2006, 11:10 PM |

Fav ones are: CAPTAIN JAMES T. KIRK I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am. CONTINUITY We're going to pretend this never happened. SAREK More logical than you since 2164. Even though I am a fan of Star Trek, I have not seen all the episodes of TOS, could some one explain KOBAYASHI MARU It's okay to cheat, if you just really don't like to lose. to me please. |

KOBAYASHI MARU It's okay to cheat, if you just really don't like to lose. It's a test at Starfleet Academy. You go through a flight simulation that can't be won (which you don't know at the time you do the test), so it is meant to evaluate how you cope with defeat. Kirk is the only one who ever won the simulated battle because he had re-programmed the scenario in the computer before. |

Someone's gotta make one about how they fire photon torpedos up the Enterprise's butt all the time, no matter what letter it is, but it somehow keeps on going! I would, but my mind is just not working right now.

I liked Expendability too. I remember watching Star Trek with my dad and trying to guess which new character was going to die. The True Love was funny too, and true!

I used that one for my Starsky & Hutch posters.
But now that you've posted the link, maybe SOMEONE here will take up the challenge. Anyone. |

Those Star Trek posters are hilarious. You forget sometimes just how very hammy Shatner was, but I loved him anyway.
Gatejumper, those are very good! |

Star Trek posters are hilarius. These are my favorites:
EXPENDABILITY Kirk, Spock, McCoy, and Ensign Ricky are beaming down to the planet. Guess who's not coming back. TALOS IV Why does this place get such a bad rap? All these guys want is the whole of your physical and emotional existence. That's no different from working for a corporation, except instead of Casual Fridays these guys give you virtual sex. |

Just checking the posters out...
FYI, there's about 4 more than when I first posted the link! CHARLIE X Powerful psionics seem most commonly to occur spontaneously in adolescents, around the age of twelve. Better buy your daughter that pony I bet there's one that Xay'll like |
