I would talk to rogue about that. It looks good, and he claims it is so. Well I would say it's definetely worth the purchase, as long as you're able to move past the cel-shading (which works and looks quite good IMO). Clever puzzles and great dialogue with some truly humorous moments (Linebeck FTW!). I don't think I've seen a DS game utilize the full potential of the system so much since I played Another Code. Trust me, if you're a Zelda fan, go for it. |

Trust me, if you're a Zelda fan, go for it. The graphics for WW never really bugged me as much as other people, ok they don't look as good but it's still a Zelda game, and a good one. The grapics suit the gameplay and the story more though, the exact game in TP grapics wouldn't have really worked, because they designed the game around those graphics rather then an after thought. So it does suit the game, but I'd have rathered them just work with good graphics from the begining but hey ho we didn't get it. And it is still a very good game, if a little easy. The cel shaded graphics worked fantastically in Minish cap though, but it suited the hand held format very well. But that was still more of an up-down view of the game. Here I don't think it would suit as well, but I can still imagine it working. And probably would make better graphics for the DS then TP graphics would. And hey it's a Zelda game anyway, and one that I've heard get nothing but good praise. I am looking forward to playing it when it comes out friday. (Yeah, we're behind you Rogue |

Trailer for Advance Wars: Days of Ruin.
Gone is the cutesy, "Hey lets send hundreds of troops to their deaths just so we can determine which of us is the better tactician!", laidback fun-and-games feel of the previous entries in the series. Instead it looks like we're getting a gritty post-apocalyptic styled game. Could be ...interesting. Or it could fail miserably due to the lack of charm. Time will tell I guess. The core gameplay still looks to be intact though, and online wi-fi play has been confirmed. I think it will work out pretty well. And if it has as much stuff crammed into it Dual Strike did, it might occupy the game slot of my DS for quite some time. This post has been edited by Rogue Ashrak: Oct 17th 2007, 8:57 AM |

I played (well own, but I still played them!), the DS one and the GBA one, I did like them but never got addicted to them probably because I never played them enough. But if I had I may have, they were good though. But I wouldn't get this one if I'm only a little bit into the first one on the DS.

Well this thread seems to have died Eh, for those of you still here, who aren't already aware: New DS Zelda revealed:The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks Seems to be a follow up to Phantom Hourglass, with the boat & ocean based map from that game being replaced by some sort of cross country train transport system. As long as the standard dungeon gameplay remains intact though (and it seems to be from the video) it should be another fun addition to the series to tide fans over until the next Wii Zelda title comes along This post has been edited by Rogue Ashrak: Mar 28th 2009, 2:49 AM |

NOTHING'S HAPPENED ON THE DS IN MONTHS What? Evidence to the contrary. I don't like the look of the train aspect. At least in PH, you could roam wherever you liked in your boat. Even if they have some sort of construction aspect, where you lay the tracks, I don't know how fun that'll be... |

Anyone here play xbox live, the two games I like at the mo are halo wars and vegas 2:D Oh no! Don't let Rouge see this post! He'll start frothing at the mouth with Nintendo Fanboyism! Rogue in a few posts below: "How dare you mock the uter-awesomeness that is Nintendo with talk about puny XBox?... Blasphemer..." And yes, I have decided which console I am going to buy. A PS3... |

Oh no! Don't let Rouge see this post! He'll start frothing at the mouth with Nintendo Fanboyism! Actually I don't have that many issues with the 360 apart from the RROD thing. The price has dropped a bit too, which was a major turnoff in the beginnning. And I was always a fan of LIVE and the acheivements system. The only thing thats stopping me from getting one of my own now really is that I can still only think of a small handful of games that I might want to play. (Kameo, Staw Wars: Battlefront & RE5 are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head). I can't justify dropping that much money on a console for only a few games. The PS3 can go to hell though. |

Don't worry, I've got one too! And Rogue can bite my shiny, metal, Blu-Ray-watching ass! Yeah but wasn't that the reason you bought one? For the Blu-Ray? And yeah, there were quite a number of games I got for the 360 in the month or so I've had it. I've got PES 09 (Football game), Fallout 3, Bioshock, Banjo Kazooie, Viva Pinata and Tomb Raider Underworld. And I also plan on getting Orange Box. RE5 I'm not that fussed on, there are loads of RE games I can play if I want to. I'm not too fussed of new versions for it now... But I had a lot of free time and there just wasn't enough on the Wii, not enough games of substance so I decided to get a 360. And I'm really glad I did. I'm barely ever bored when I'm at home with free time anymore. Although buying 6 games really close to each other may have helped in that regard. Plus at my London home my dad has an HD TV so I'll probably link my X-box to that for all it's glory |

Fallout 3 is AWESOME.
Even though I could go beat the game right now, I've been playing it for hours and hours just faffing about exploring. There's SO much you can do in the game. And so many people you can kill. It's fun playing an evil character This post has been edited by Janos: Mar 31st 2009, 3:22 PM |

And the biggest suprise of E3 (for me) is.....Golden Sun DS. Hell yes. I've been waiting for this for a looong time. Didn't see it coming unlike the usual Mario, Zelda, Metroid fare (which while great, is hardly shocking
RPG lovers take note: Buy this game when it releases or I make you eat your DS. |
