As promised, here are some spoilers to go with those images: From Gateworld: After learning that the Ori have successfully infiltrated six more galaxies, SG-1 goes off-world to find an Ancient weapon that Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks) believes is the key to defeating the Ori. SG-1 travels through the gate and discovers a village in which all the inhabitants died of a mysterious illness. However, before they can make any real progress in their search, SG-1 becomes infected by a virus that causes its victims to fall into a deep sleep, from which they will never awaken. Unwilling to risk exposing Earth to the virus, the isolated team searches for a cure, while Daniel investigates the local library looking for clues to finding the weapon they seek. Back on Earth, Vala (Claudia Black), on General Landry's (Beau Bridges) orders, undergoes a psychiatric evaluation to determine if she is fit to join the Stargate Command. May I also add this? After learning that the Ori have successfully infiltrated six more galaxies... How many human populated galaxies are there out there... Several questions come in my mind... Like: Do they make other forms of intelligent life worship them? Did other galaxies bowed down to their power? Were there Ancients in 6 more other galaxies? Why didn't they infiltrate those galaxies sooner? etc.... Now the Ep has been aired and we all know better, can I just say this? The above is a prime example of why Gateworld sucks. Six galaxies?! Try six worlds you ignorant morons. Just to be clear, I'm calling the Gateworld writers morons, not you Marv. You weren't to know they got their info so blatantly wrong. And why are they morons? They get their info from probably other sources, and just copy/paste them for themselves... Without even looking out for possible mistakes... It would have been nice to be galaxies though...
Wait a minute, I did just what I said that they did... This post has been edited by KillerMarv: Jul 26th 2006, 6:21 AM |

And why are they morons? They get their info from probably other sources, and just copy/paste them for themselves... Without even looking out for possible mistakes. That's exactly why. The original information was most likely just a typo on the site that originally posted it. Gateworld comes along and just reports the exact same thing without any research before it is posted. They take anything they read as gospel truth which is sometimes wrong, as in this example. A simple to follow is:Don't trust any news you read on Gateworld. |

It's why I never go to Gateworld, and when something is posted here from them, I take it with a grain of sand, meaning nothing. Never heard that saying before... don't really understand it... Gateworld basically takes information and puts it on their site without any regard for anything. Also, don't they get interviews sometimes? I haven't been there in a long time... I disliked the site... dunno why, it just bored me. |

Revan, it means with very little meaning, a grain of sand, for me, meaning nothing from that site.

I've never heard of either. I've heard of "Take it with a pinch of salt" but never what Indy said.
The only thing I find useful on Gateworld is the Omnipedia, I don't find the interviews to very good because they always seem to suck up to the person being interviewed. |

If i see something on Gateworld i always try to find the info on other sites like Stargate Solutions.
If they have the same info there then i know that it's good info and not cr*p. |

Revan, it means with very little meaning, a grain of sand, for me, meaning nothing from that site. But why take it with a grain of sand? I would get 'take it as a grain of sand'... take it to be relatively meaningless.... wft? How could you never have heard that before Revan? Do you live under a rock? Actually, the road I live on was once called Rock Run.... so really, I live ON a rock. |

Daf I have heard both phrases. Maybe it depends on where you are from. |

turkee whose post are you on about? Why do you like the post? You need to put more info into your posts because you can be labeled as a spammer if you continously make posts like the one above. |
