Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone is attending the Creation Entertainment Convention in Chicago 25th - 27th August 2006. Also if anyone has attended a convention in Chicago before if they can let me know what to expect. I have been to a Stargate Convention in Brisbane November 2005 which was fantastic and I am expecting bigger things from a US Convention. Regards Maz |

Well I'm not from Australia but that sounds exciting! I live in northwest Indiana so Chicago's not *that* far away.

I've never been to one, but it would be cool to go to that one, since I live around an hour away from there. Do you just show up, or do you have to pay in advance?

I am paying in advance as I am travelling from so far away. My Daughter and I have booked the Gold Weekend Package. It is $369.00 US dollars for three days. For that price we also get to go to parties in the evening and get Autographs of the stars attending as well as other stuff. I believe you can pay seperatley for each day. The closer the convention date gets the more packages they will release. And then if you do decide last minute, you can just show up and buy general admission tickets and sometimes packages if they aren't sold out.
