The new Stargate SG-1: The Alliance video game from Perception is now available for pre-order in our new Stargate Game Section!

So far, you can pre-order the PS2 and XBOX version in the United States, and the PS2, XBOX and PC versions in the United Kingdom. We will add more links as they become available in other regions.

it's about time. I sure hope this new game looks as good as the one from JoWood did. However, it's still disappointing that they won't have a mac version. Which version (PS2, Xbox, et cetera) do you guys think will be the best? I am personally a PS2 fan but......

I will probably get the PS2 version, since that's what I have. I am a Mac user, so I can't play the PC version.

Ok the PC version will have better graphics ect if you have a good computer.
Xbox version will be next up on the graphics list but not as good as the PC
PS2 will probably have the better control system to be honest, although obviously worse graphics. Alot of games (control wise) are designed for the PS2 and put on the other consoles (although i dont know if thats the case with this one given it is on the PC)

There wont be much variety except the control pads and slight graphic changes. Just get it on what you think would be best for it (or what you have).
I dont have a PS2 or X-box and my PC isnt good enough so i cant get it.

i have pre ordered from a game shop in my home town but they have not got a release date on the alliance website it says that they will be releasing it late 2005

i emailed perception and they said they havent given a release date yet but they are hopefully gonna try and release it early 2006.

It was because they didnt have a publisher, the game is ready but they cant release the game with out one. It was over some dispute with jowood and perception.

Does anyone know how this game is suposed to play out?
Are we going to different planets, staying on one, killing Gou'uld, killing ori, do we play as sam, teil'c, daniel, browder, bow.gif jack, if there even is a jack?

I think sgcommand is the breifing stage and you can also play levels in the base, also i think you play different levels with different members of the team or it would be cool if you could switch players in game.

The game takes place right before 'Threads'. SG1 is composed of Jack, Sam, Teal'c and Daniel. You get to control each character who each has a special skill that helps complete missions. If you check out the official site you will see screenshots of the different worlds you visit. Kelowna and Tartarus are included.

This is really good news but I hope they wont require your computer to have like a Geforce 7800 graphic card or something to play the PC version..

The latest news I heard was that the release may be pushed back to Summer 2006. There has been no official cancellation at this time.

oooohhhhh! i hope they don't cancel it! they've worked so hard on it. I keep watching the trailer for the game on the DVD of 'Moebius'. I can't wait to get it, especially seeing as they did all the voices themselves! oh i hope it does get released!

since when has the game trailer been on the Mobius Disk *runs and checks DVD* nope still not there
