Season 1, Episode 25 "Conspiracy"
They make an old admiral so strong he throws Worf through the air. They enter through the neck. ![]() They eat icky animals with their bare hands (as witnessed on SG-1's Summit). ![]() And leave through the mouth. ![]() And here comes the best part. These have to be the single worst "special effects" that I have ever seen on Sci Fi! Video Excerpt (2 MB, Xvid Codec, no audio) This post has been edited by ted_simple: Aug 25th 2005, 6:49 PM |

I remember this episode. Suspenseful and mildly good. After the failure of the ferengis they were meant to be the new bad guys but the title went to the Borg. I wish they followed through with the invasion plot.

Am I the only person that thinks that thing looks nothing like a Goa'uld? It looks like a big beetle.

i remember this ep too the big differance between th beetle and the goa'ild is that the beetles have a queen that spawnes and controls the other little drones a queen Goa'uld dose produce infants but she dose not control them and when the captan and rikker killed the queen the drones died as well that dose not happen with the Goa'uld

Oh, come on, those effects arent too bad for 1987 or whenever it was. At least the had the guts to try doings something so gloppy on a prime-time show.
QUOTE I wish they followed through with the invasion plot. They did. Sort of. After DS9 ended, a whole bunch of writers got together and started writing a big overarcing "what happens next plot", effectivly continuing the DS( plotline, just in novel format. They brought back the invasion conspiriacy plot a while back. I just cant find anywhere round where I live that can sell me the whole arc.... |

Goa'uld in star trek now that would have been something. I wounder who would have won. or better yet Goa'uld vs the Borg haha and if the Goa'uld were asimalated it would mean mechanical snake heads thinking as one with thousands of years of knowledge.

Nah.
The Queen looked like one of the worms from Men In Black. And the little beetles didn't kill their hosts when they left, either. Plus they were able to live outside of host bodies. So, not goa'uld... LoL |
