I thought that Sky One were supposed to be showing the documentary next week? Brainiac is on instead. Anyone know if it is going to be shown or is it just going to be a DVD special feature?

Should be, don't know yet. Check some of the channel 4 message boards, they usually have something. But I'm not sure at the present time. Probably in a couple of months at least though... at my guess.

Channel 4 usually screen a season a year after it screens on Sky. Don't expect season 9 on Channel 4 much before October. By the time Channel 4 gets it, almost all of the individual volumes will have been released and it will only be a few months after that until the season 9 boxset is released.

I know that this thread was intended for Season 9 of SG-1 and Season 2 of Atlantis... but I didn't find any other more suitable thread for this, and I didn't want to create a new one, hope you won't mind. biggrin.gif

Sky One has announced the air date for Season 10 of SG-1: it is set to start on the 6th of October at 8:00 PM. Thank you. smile.gif

A question, I don't know how this works, but Sky One runs Atlantis concurently with SG-1... or the air date for Season 3 should be different, because there was no news on that. unsure.gif

Atlantis usually runs 1 week later for the first 10 episodes. We get a break around Christmas for a few weeks and Atlantis episode 10 airs the week after SG-1 episode 10 airs. After the break, we get both shows at the same time.

It's on a friday?? Ok, that's odd. Guess they're trying to copy the sucess of it in america huh? biggrin.gif It also isn't always at the 10 episode time do they stop them for the break, they have gone on furthur then 10 episodes before (last year was the only time they didn't, but I don't think sky one will change that again this year tbh)

I suspect that the information is false. There is no news on the Sky One website, nothing in the forums nor anything in the Sky Magazine regarding the date Stargate airs. It is unlikely that they will change scheduling that much given they will also air Atlantis and Galactica.
October 6th also seems very early, we don't normally get the show until mid to late October. The 16th makes more sense as it is a Monday.

Well here's more conclusive news from gateworld biggrin.gif But I don't care they get it from somewhere. Anyway they say that sg1 and atlantis are both starting october 18th in the Uk.

Umm daf the new sky magasine which was sent out this week said that they'll air on the 18th. Are you sure?? huh.gif

Yeah I just checked the guide it says it starts on the 18th but they don't have it as the main pick of the day until the 25th. But check the 18th one it is there.

I don't use the magazine because it has been wrong in the past. I use the planner on the website and there was nothing down for Stargate on the 18th. I'll go back and have another look though.

EDIT: Yes, I was wrong. It does air on the 18th.

Most likely. The line up on Sky One HD is exactly the same as Sky One so the chances are that the new seasons will air in HD.

But... they lsit Taop of Rodney as #14, which is teh right num,ber, rather than the production code which lsits Sunday as #14...

Well, upon further checking, I suspect they're still unsure themselves. |On their online programme scheduale they list Quest part 2, but the week afterwards SG1 adn SGA are the only shows a description doesn't pop up for me..

EDIT: damn. when pressing it, it does come out to Bounty - but still are the only episodes that don't have episode details... odd.
