Are you saying that there are ACTUAL lyrics to the SG1 opening theme song? Once which change from DVD to DVD? PDL has this way of being very sarcastic about things like this. Unless someone else confirms it, I wouldn't take his commentary information such as this completely seriously (only partly)

There are lyrics to the Stargate theme, they were posted on this site once I believe. Whether they were genuinely meant to be lyrics to the theme or whether it is something that PDL quickly made up isn't known. PDL is a joker so things like that shouldn't be taken at face value.

EDIT: They sing the lyrics on the commentry to 'Prodigy', the clip can be seen on Youtube but I seriously doubt now (after watching it) that they were really meant to be a part of the theme.

He actually sings them in 2 different commentaries (I believe both in S3). They are slightly different in each one. They are not real lyrics.

I think islands dissapear all the time. Atlantis could have been one of them. Or it was a case of a tidal wave or tsunami.

Why arent there any ancient, unknown civilizations? I think there are plenty, but probably none before the invention of agriculture.
