Landry rolls his eyes and thinks to himself. "What the hell have I gotten myself into. Jack I am going to kill you when we meet again."

Just off screen a shadow figure can be seen lurking. Landry turns his back and sits down at the computer to enter the request.

**How am I to explain this order to my higher ups**

Suddenly a hand comes up and grabs the request unbeknownst to Landry. The paper just as quickly reappears. Landry turns around and having made his decision and grabs the request. He looks down at it again preparing to enter the information it contains.

'"What the hell? I could have swore. He reads it again. **'Dr. Daniel Jackson requests 3 extra large boxs of condoms. Purpose: to facilitate an interface with alien culture for the purpose of exchange of societal practices and possible bodily fluids. ASAP!!!'**

"I could have swore it just said 1 box a minute ago. This place is screwing with my mind."

I thought the Daniel/Vala thing in "Avalon" was absolutely great. Those two have such a spark and she delivers the hell out of her lines.
"I think I'm pregnant and there's a one in ten chance it's yours."
"Let's make babies!!"
"I haven't been this disappointed since Daniel and I had sex." (Loved the expression on Teal'c's face at that one.)
And what about the chemistry between MS and BB?? I can see lots of slashy futures for those two. Vala may have to fight for her man. biggrin.gif

You already mentioned my favorite lines of Vala's. I love how she frustrated Daniel so. Reminded me of how Daniel used to peeve Jack. Now he sees how it feels. biggrin.gif

I liked the part where Vala kinda had her boobs shoved in that guy's face, and Daniel pulled her back. Reasons?

1) He was jealous.

Or

2) He wanted to protect the other guy.

Or

3) He was getting fed up with Vala and her antics.

I think it was a mixture of all three. Sure, he pretends to distrust Vala, but deep down, I think he likes her. Why else would have have vouched for her when she popped up at the SGC?

I just think he is so far from understanding her, that he doesn't know what direction to go in first. I like seeing Daniel at odds with the logical side of his nature. And then next week, where he and Vala get transported into star-crossed lovers, that looks so great.
Kinda off-topic, but I can't post in the specific episode discussions. Says I'm not authorizied on that forum. Any idea why?

I've been PMed about that by some folks who want to post but can't. I honestly have no idea what's wrong. Y'all should PM Arcady and ask him what's up.

I agree with you about how Vala discombobulates Daniel. It's good to see him in a constant state of "WTF?!"

I may have to move to the slashers and talk about Daniel and Cameron. Those two could create a fire that would incinerate poor Vala. But what about her and Teal'c? Was it just me, or did T seem to resent every comment she made about Daniel and their alleged sexual trysts?? Of course, T could be thinking "He's my man, back off, sister!"
Definitely must go to slasher and start thread about this...

He wasn't to thrilled when he came into the room asking about the "lost ancient treasure" so deep down, when he got the order, he might've thought "damn, she was hot, god I'd love to <use imagination>" and just said , HELL YEA!!, n' didn't think twice, and viola! There she was!!

What I wanna kno is, on the end of Avalon 1, (if you saw it) that oppertunity arises considering the state they're in... I kno I would.. whistling.gif

Daniel didn't exactly run up to the briefing room, did he? He was either playing hard to get or remembering his last encounter with Vala. (Stops by weapons room to get body armor.)

Id love to see those bracelets to be left on for the entire season. Unfortunately i know it wont happen but seeing those 2 bickering constantly and possibly having to move in together would just be great in my view.

To be honest, I never realize that Daniel and Vala were so funny together, Daniel restraining himself from killing Vala and Vala were blurting things out.

Then you got the hilarious interaction between Mitchell and Vala but that's for another thread.

At times, Daniel and Vala were bickering like a married couple so much, that it's so funny that you have to rewind to the start of the scene and watch it again. laugh.gif

I should get "Prometheus Unbound" someday and watch that episode... and watch the chemistry unfold from the start.

I think it would be great if they could keep Vala around longer. She and Daniel are just great together.
Like Xay said, his reaction to watching her get toasted (especially her crying out for him) was gut-wrenching. He tries to hard to say he doesn't like her, but methinks the lad doth protest too much.
When Cameron was fighting the virtual knight (or whatever the hell that thing was),you can see a quick shot of Daniel with his arm around Vala, like he's protecting her. Awww, how sweet.
And didn't her eyes light up when she found out they were in the bodies of a married couple. Also had to laugh when she was looking at Salis's boobs in the mirror, what a moment.
I'm gonna be sorry to see her go, but prolly not as sorry as Daniel....
