The July 10th issue of TV Guide features an inside scoop on Sci Fi Friday, which premieres with new episodes of Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, and Battlestar Galactica on July 15th. The four collector covers of the issue feature Amanda Tapping and Ben Browder (SG-1), Rachel Luttrell and Joe Flanigan (Atlantis), James Callis and Tricia Helfer (Galactica), and Browder, Helfer, and Flanigan together. The last time Stargate was featured on the cover of TV Guide was in July 2003 (story).

Here are some exceprts from the article:

"Going out of this world is business as usual for Sci Fi Channel, which has picked the perfect night of the week--Friday--to showcase its hottest properties: the spectacular lineup of Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis and Battlestar Galactica, all returning with original episodes on July 15th."

SG-1: "Yes Stargate SG-1 fans, there is life after Richard Dean Anderson. From the look of things at the sprawling complex in Vancouver where Sci Fi Channel's Friday-night anchor is filming its ninth season, an infusion of new characters--and a villainous race so powerful it has its own planet-size Stargate portal--has created a palpable sense of renewal."

Atlantis: "The show's producers are practically rubbing their hands with glee over the new season. 'Our toy box has been doubled this year ... We have the biggest sets that we've ever had. We are doing the biggest episodes we've ever done. Stuff we would normally save for the season finale we're doing almost every other episode.'"

She's a human-form Cylon that lives inside the head of the other guy featured on the battlestar cover! Yes, I am a nerd that knows too much about these things. And yes, that sounds pretty screwed up, but it all sortof makes sense in the show.

She's not forcing him to do anything that, a part of him atleast, hasn't thought about doing before! She may be playing with his mind, but he could always do something about it. I think he likes her in his head.
