This character is very confusing. He has changed roles many times. In 'Heros' he told us that his only real job is to put his hand on the iris open device and in '2010' he was the museum curator. I dont even know his real name. It has changed multiple times and in '2010' Jack called him someting different than he was refeered to in in other seasons. Anyone else think this character us always out of place?

I think he's the greatest-useless character in sci-fi. I mean, he's so pointless but then again I think we'd all miss him if he were gone.

Yup, the only significant insignificant character in sci-fi history. One of the few who will probably never get killed off.

... That's pretty much what we're saying. I mean, anyone could do the job, but the actor does a good job at playing an insignificant role on the show.

My husband and I call him "Gunther" from the Central Perk coffee waiter on Friends cause he looks a lot like him and is used much the same way.
