sorry sweetheart but i can't stand fussy rings...they all look hideous. i think she'd go for something simple, white gold band with a nice diamond but nothing to fancy

Well then why don't you show a ring that you might think suits Sam then. |

QUOTE(Ringbearer @ Sep 15th 2005, 9:40 PM) sorry i just can't stand fussy rings...the first one you posted was nice, kinda what i meant - white gold, simple, nice diamond. but honestly even thats too fussy for me, the diamonds too big, i dont like big rings i think they look ugly, and i have really long skinny fingers so they look ridiculous on me |

I can't stand fussy rings either. Gak no!
What a pity this site doesn't make rings. One of them would be oh so appropriate. |

I think a lovely diamond in the middle with tiny diamonds on the side of the ring would be lovely.

Those are lovely pictures.
But it doesnt really look romantic for me...I think the diamonds on the side should stand out a bit more...sorta raised and in their own setting. |

Okay, so i'm not so good at the whole knowing what stones are like, you know, whats precious, what colours they are etc but i think that a beautiful ring for Jack to give Sam would be one with a white gold band, and a blue, round stone in the middle, that matched the colour of Sam's eyes exactly. I think that it would be beautiful if the ring had 9 smaller stones in the band of the ring, one for every year he has known her (so obviously he should propose in season 9!!!!)
What wouold be beautiful would be if the ring had an inscription on the underside of the band, BUT the inscription would be written in the Ancient language. Makes it unique. 'Love can overcome all boundaries' would be a good inscription i think. |

I guess a little like this one, but the ring in my head had the stones actually inlaid into the band rather than attached like that... SJ4E, while your suggestion is absolutely adorable and all it would be SO UN-Jack!!!! That's how I would see Daniel proposing.... |
