Here's the latest update on Stargate scheduling in Israel:
Season Seven episodes are currently airing on Saturdays at 5:05 p.m on IBA (channel 1). (Thanks to Pitry for the info!) |

Correction: as of 26.2 IBA are broadcasting two SG-1 (season 7) episodes from 5:05 til 6:30, and are expected to start Stargate Atlantis during April (with possibility of season 8).

Argh, since I honestly cannot find the edit button...
A bit late, Season 8 started today with New Order 1 &2, Rising 1 &2 starts on 14-5, and from there they'll be broadcasted back to back on IBA. (Info from Stargate Israel. |

I can say the current episode for 10th June 2005 are Stargate SG-1, Season 8, Avatar and Stargate Atlantis, Season 1, Childhood's End.
If the administrators want, I can update the section weekly. By the way, i'm Israeli. |

Season 7 re-runs, Saturdays 5:05 PM, channel 1. And, er, apparently 5:05 means 5:35, at least until election's over. (as for seasons 9 + 2, apparently nagotiations to buy it won't start til March.) |

So, season 9 beginning Saturday, 27th May, 20:10 PM (Channel 1). Still no time allotted for Atlantis seaosn 2. Dunno if it means they're continuing re-running season 7 at 5:05.
Stargate? Israel? Primetime? Pitry is shocked. You'd think they'd realised people actually do watch the show.  Thanks to Stargate Israel/tapuz forum people for the info. (comment: I'm talking to myself here, ain't I?...) |

 J/K I'm about as surprised by that as you are. But to be completely fair it's not exactly the first time - they originally aired here seasons 1,2,3 in a row but then had to wait because they were still shooting season 4... and because of the delay in season 5's second half we only got it a couple of months after the original US broadcast. It must have to do with the reply to Em - y'see, there're some very lovely (and vocal) Stargate fans here who became somewhat upset when the channel considered stopping to broadcast Stargate after season 6 because of the price MGM asked. So after all the complaints, the channel people actually listen to the fans now apparently. Also people have been complaining about the hours for years - religious people can't watch the show on Saturday afternoon, and if I'm not mistaken can't ask people to tape it to them, either. 20:10 is borderline (during summers) for religious people, but acceptable. ;) |

No to war, yes to Stargate!
Channel 1 is resuming airing season 9 after a 6-weeks' hiatus. They will air a re-run of Beach Head this Saturday at 20:10, beginning the yet un-aired rest of season 9 next week. I've.... no idea what's with the season 7 re-runs. Before the war they just re-aired Ressurection, Saturdays 17:05. Thankee to Tapuz forums people. |

Season 7 re-runs are over, Stargate Atlantis re-tuns instead, Saturdays 17:05. Season 9 continues at 20:10 as of.... 29th Septmeber, methinks.

And... channel 1 does it again.
I'm compeltely confused but apparently they've stopped showing Stargate SG1 again and when they'l start it would be in 18:15, right after Atlantis season 1 reruns, and I couldn't figure out when that's gonna be. I think. Last aired episode so far was Prototype. Where's that cofnused smilie when you need it. |

It's more than that.
Even if I buy the DVD in LA and [i]have/i] the multi-region DVD player, I cant't see a picture, as region 1 are also ?NTSC, and ISrael, like Europe, works on PAL. However. I don't even have a DVD player. Or a television. I got a computer that doesn['t really care either way ;) (and if I'm home, we got a multi region DVD and a both PAL/ NTSC television set, as my LoTR regopn 1 DVDs proved...) |

Right, My bad. It's apparently still on 20:15.
However! Their website now lists Stronghold after Collateral Damage. I give up. (Then again, it is the same channel that aired Prodigy, Double Jeopardy, Exodus, Entity). |

After Camelot airs in three weeks, SGA season 2 starts on the same timeslot, Saturday 8:10, season 1 reruns apparently continue at 5:05.

Due to channel 1 being officially bankrupt, apparently seasons 10/3 won't air on the channel anytime in the near future... AXN channel (HOT viewers) apparently got the right to air Stargate from the beginning tho, so who knows.
(looking happily at DVDs, as I a) don't have a television in Jerusalem and b) even where i do have a television, we don't have HOT...) |
