Only know him from Star Trek. In TOS he was lame, and in the movies he was okay. If getting a star is about being a legend, just because every toddler has heard "beam me up, Scotty" it doesn't necessarily make him worthy.
RDA is a legend. I hope he's got a star, I'd suppose he has. |

Its not really great...at all...I think getting a star should be more about what an influence a person was/is and not about their fame.

I think it's great that he got a star. I mean, everytime you hear or say "beam me up Scotty," who do you picture? Congrats to the man. It's about time.

How does one get a Hollywood Star?
I know that he was huge as Scotty, but is that it? Is there a "litmus test" of some sort? Are there certain qualifications? Is it because enough Trekkies complained enough? In 50 years, Hollywood will be full and they wont be able to have any more stars |

No, I didn't know it.
It's okay if you think so. It's just creepy with some people saying "TOS and ST I-VI are the best forever" and believing everybody must agree. |

I think it's great that he's got a star. I dont think william shatner deserves one, he so should have it taken away after making us listen to his voice.
But i do agree with the fact that you should have to do quite alot of work to get a star. |

Scotty is Cool. He deserves his Star. Star Trek is not a cool with out Scotty. "beam me up Scotty" is not the only reason but it would work anyway.
