Anyone following the Cricket World Cup?

Should be a pretty close contest, few of the minnow sides might upset a few teams.

Australia out of form but will have to go close to winning.

I'll be following it definitley. My office is Cricket mad. We got a couple of Brits, Kiwis and a Sri Lankan working with us, so Australia better win! I'll never hear the end of it otherwise.

I'm hoping for an undefeated run like 2003, but it doesn't seem likely. Still have a fairly good chance of winning though- As long as we don't get humiliated first round by those pesky Scots ph34r.gif

It was good last World Cup, espcially since some of my friends are Indians. 1.gif

But this time it will get interesting, but i'm still backing Australia to win it! bow.gif

Annnnd
, despite my intitial fears considering some of the drubbings the Kiwi's and the Poms handed to us just before the tournament...Australia has been absolutely brilliant. They're now on track for an unprecedented 2nd consecutive undefeated run. In fact Australia havent lost a World Cup one dayer since midway through the '99 tournament. Pretty damn impressive if you ask me.

Good match up until the end, when the umpires screwed it up. I like seeing Australia win the world cup for the 3rd time but I didn't want to see it end like that & I think its going to be overshadowed by the umpiring at the end. dry.gif
