The first DVD volume of Stargate Atlantis season 2 is due for release in the United Kingdom on April 10, 2006! This region 2 disc will contain 4 anamorphic widescreen episodes. Bonus features are unknown at this time. The set is now available for pre-order at Amazon.co.uk and SendIt.com.

•?Length: Approx. 170 Minutes

It's an 18....Why?? What was in any of those episodes to make it an 18?? Did they cut something out of the Tv showing or something. Why is it an 18?? It's cool artwork though...although a bit too similar to how season 1 was done imo.

Ah ok thanks, it's just the picture uses the symbol for the 18 rating. (The red at the bottom left of the image) Ok thanks for clearing that up then. Wonder why they use the 18 image for the preliminary artwork... huh.gif )

i cant wait until they release them in north america some of them are actually good like the tower and epiphany i also cant wait until they start showing season 3 i am excited that there are powerful enemies in this galaxy too. if you want to see the new episodes you should go to gateworld.net

You mean descriptions of the new episodes?? Gateworld probably does have them yes but they're not the actual episodes.

Hey! Sorry if this is a stupid question, but could someone who has bought the 1st/2nd volumes help me? The shop where I usually buy imported DVDs claims that the 1st volume only contains episodes 1-3 and the 2nd volume has episodes 5-8. So what happened to episode 4?! Is it on there, and is it just a mistake on the part of the product info or is episode 4 on one of the upcoming volumes? Thanks a lot if someone can help...

Season 2, volume 1 definitely contains four episodes. The season is released over 5 discs with each disc containing 4 episodes, making the total 20 episodes per season. The store is wrong.

It was released on Oct. 9th that for region 1 (US/Canada) that the Season 2 Box Set will not be available until January 2007... crying.gif sick.gif

The announcement that the season 2 boxset released was pushed was only made a week or so ago. When I made that post it was still on schedule for the original release date.

Sorry it's just something that's been bothering me for a while now; shouldn't the DVD section of this website (under store) for the UK section have stuff on the season 9 and 2 releases?? Because at the moment they're still just showing the season 8 and Atlantis 1 stuff?? It's just more of a thought because some people probably do come here wanting to check the DVD stuff so isn't it a, normal idea. Just wondering why.

I mean the individual volumes, all the season 8 and 1's volumes are listed but season 9 and 2's aren't. Just think it's a good idea as if it is on the site it should be relatively up to date.

Its a good thing the title of this topic says "UK SGA". Wouldn't want someone to make the mistake of thinking that information about region 1 (CAN/US) would have been contained in here. That would have been silly!
