Question Hobo... how's the draft order decided? Does the computer randomize it? Or is it by team creation? (oldest to newest, newest to oldest)

The draft order is randomly selected by the computer 30 mins or so before the draft
 Keeps it more fair that way.On a side note: at least we have a reasonable number of people now, so looks like in a few weeks all the fun begins  (I'm just reminding you all that I was looking to go for the auto-draft on about the 14th. So you still gotta few days to pre-select your draft order.) |

At the end there I was talking about the order your guys will be selected. You can change all that around as often as you like. On the 14th, I will run the auto-draft. A computer will then select your actual team. So preselecting your order now is a good thing |

Ok, so the draft has been conducted and your teams are set! You can still add and drop players from those left, as well as trade with other teams if you wish. The first game of the season begins on Oct. 5, so there's still time to figure out this whole thing before then. Good luck to you all .... Oh yeah, and hope you enjoy yourselves at the bottom |

Well, it's finally here! Day 1 of the fantasy league. Make sure to get the players you want to play off the bench and onto your roster for the week. Don't worry, it's not too hard to figure this out.
Just incase I forgot to mention it earlier, only your players that play in the actual game (and aren't on your bench) will have their stats added to your total for the week. And a minimum of 3 games must be played by your combined goalies in order for your goalie stats to stick. Oh, and roster(position) changes happen on a daily basis, but you can edit your lineup days in advance if you aren't going to be around for a while. Good luck to you all |

All expenses paid trip to Vancover, Canada and an all access pass to tour Bridge studeo and watch a Stargate episode filmed. PLUS a speaking role on it with guarentees for it not to be cut out.

Well, crap. I've just dropped to third. I suppose I should move or trade or, or....do something crafty and technical...but the truth is, I have no idea how I stayed second for so long. I picked my players because of where they were from! I figured anybody from Canada would know what they were doing and Boston is where my Dad was born.
Oh, well, maybe the Cristal will have to wait for another occasion. But look for me to make a major, yes I said MAJOR, comeback in the second half of the season. Yeah, I'm the new nr.2
 Don't know how I won that last game. One minute I was losing and then after changing just one player it all changed!Nice way to pick players, Sigfie! I borrowed my brother for the drafts, he plays that NHL game A LOT! Since then he has checked my stats a couple of times and both times he was surprised that I haven't screwed up editing lineup and changing players |

... except the transactions show you have dropped Raycroft. I suggest searching for another goalie if you can. Plus, Raycroft has just been injured and won't be playing for the next week

I thought he was gone at the end of this season? Ok thanks about the heads up re the goalies and Hull.
I remember when Hull first joined. They all said he would never amount to anything and would wash out. He could not possible last long. He was just using his daddies name. I guess they were wrong. |

Hull had a great career. One that ended 5 games into this season
. and then there are people like Lemieux. Who retire, come back and have a 5 point game tonight. 2 goals and 3 assists. Not bad for someone who is thinking about retiring ... again. |

Your team stats are what really matter. You can have 2 amazing players who get you tons and tons of points, but if everyone on the other team gets a little bit then their total just may be higher than yours. Additionally, goalies count for alot (6 out of 10 categories). So having good goalies will help you out lots too
