Who was the worst dead/missing/dumped boyfriend off them all in the history of SG-1? It doesn't just have to be w/Sam either. Who had it bad and then lost all of it in the end?

I chose 'other'. I think Jonas Hanson was the worse after all he was a unt case trying to be some sort of god. He almost got Sam killed towards the end of 'the first commandment' Lucky Jack came to her resuce in the end, he was piss off when Jonas hit Sam, you could see it on his face.

i'd choose martuf (probly spelt wrong) because he was obsessed with Sams' memories of jolinar, not her herself, and then he did the most inconsidirate thing possible and died, what a pig...

Well at lest he didn't hurt here like what jonas hanson, fifth,hathor and other gou'alds did to her. I think with marty(as Jack calls him), he shows more compasion cause of Lantash his symbiote lost it mate. got to remeber with the tok'ra, with marty said. 'What lantash feels, i feel' So when Lantash herd that it mate died to save Sam, Marty also felt it to. In time he started to have feelings for Sam, not because of jolinar.

Joint: Jonas Hanson - nuff said! and Martouf - such a wet lettuce!
Don't know why but I just couldn't stand Martouf from day one, he just irratated me! And the fact that I dislike him for no reason makes me even angrier with him co I'm normally very friendly and objective!!! I'm so wierd - I don't like Teyla in Atlantis either!!! |

Sam: Jonas Hanson because he hit her. A very close second would be Martouf *cough*prettyboy*cough*. I don't know whether he realised it or not but he was a bit emotonally abusive toward her. Jack: Laira. Daniel: Kira, for her kiss 'em then kill 'em attitude. Teal'c: tough one, hmm, I guess his neighbour in Affinity (Can't remember her name) for draging him into that mess with her wack-job boyfriend. Janet: her ex husband. Hammond: Hathor... He was going to shoot Jack and Sam high kicked the gun out of his hand and because her hands were still tied he hit her across the face and knocked her down (also watch Jack wince when he sees it). Martouf was trying to live his relationship with Jolinar through Sam and that's just not on. You're right, he was very needy and for an independant woman like Sam I would have thought she would have found it very off putting. If she did she hid it well. |

I chose "Other" because I was thinking of Jonas Hanson, too. I totally related to the part in the episode where Sam was telling Daniel that she always had "a thing for the lunatic fringe." When I was single, I was forever dating weird guys on the edge of sanity. Jonas was a good example of one of my exboyfriends. Good for her for kicking him to the curb!

I agree with all of you guys i hated jonas because a. he was insane and b. he hit a woman, and i thought the orlin and martouf were way too pathetic and for some reason narim really bugged me too. Sam could do way better then all of them.
